So, more pertinent to this post, Nobody wears Jesus masks on Halloween. Jesus (supposedly) did magic tricks, and was called a god. Women were (charged with) performing magic tricks, called witches, killed so that the church could inherit their land and property, and yet in popular culture for decades afterwards they still saw Witches as the villain, and Jesus as the hero.

The “magic tricks” (for which there is historic evidence) were not a quarter of half of an eighth the reason He was crucified. Even after His death came thousands more martyrs who died for the same reason. Such persecution continues today.
