Times are very rough today, even in 2025. Too many laws targeting trans and other LGBTQ+ people, other homophobes and transphobes attacking us for no reason, and the declining health for so many of us in and out of the closet is horrifically rising. I didn’t think we would go backwards in other things, but here we are. But in spite of all of this, I’m not giving up. Some girls may not know it, but it’s because of them that I’m continuing my feminine journey.

It can be a supportive friend, it can be that cousin or mother figure you’ve always cherished, or a coworker who looked so lovely in her outfit. Even the latter can leave a sliver of hope in crucial times. If you see yourself as an older woman, then that’s a sign to not give up. The journey may be long, but time goes so fast, you will wonder how you got to your goal. Put your heels on, lift your head up, and keep going, girl! We will get through this!
