"Dear Daddys and Mummys. Please get off your phones. Thank you! Your kid." Find out what this Sydney dad did when another parent left this note on his pram.
I was published in Kidspot.
28/9 - 3/10 Indigo asked for Princess Bubblegum hair.
Email correspondence with the Daily Mail
Quills: actually one small thing does irk me... you've quoted me as saying "especially traditional mothers"... i edited it out of my facebook because as a feminist i was uncomfortable pinning the blame in such a loose way on a group of women. I'm not sure what im trying to say comes across - traditional as in, what i was used to as a child. stranger danger, healthy snacks, that kind of thing. just a small thing that irked me because it's a direct quote, you are a journalist and it is a legitimate quote so use your judgement.

Sally Lee: Hi Quills,
In this case, I’d have to stick to your original quote. I hope you understand.
Kind regards,
Sally
Quills: Indeed I do. I freelanced as a camera man for commercial news briefly. It wasn't for me. Good luck to you. :)
Note: The fact they are mostly mothers is coincidence because there are few dads. - Q.
A single father was left red-faced when he received an anonymous note at a playground which accused him of being a poor parent. The father-of-two, known as Quills, was at a park in Sydney with his kids.
So I was in the Daily Mail today.
So the post i made about feeling suicidal was published on abc.net.au They requested certain additions which I refused and they respected that. They trimmed out graphic stuff and stuck a bunch of links at the bottom, one of which was for beyondblue. I asked them to change it to the Black Dog Institute and they did. I'm very pleased to say that my opinion on a touchy subject is being respected. Mad props to the ABC
19/9/14 "Daddy? You know, this is a perfect day."
so a quick vague update since i worried a lot of you: i'm doing pretty ok. it seems like im being confronted more and more by myself but that's good, it means i'm getting somewhere, and i am getting somewhere i think. i have times where i am overwhelmed by feelings of helplessness and loneliness, but I'm able to recognize them for what they are: feelings. Everything is pretty hard but I'm beginning to see the light. *shrug* thanks for being solid dudes everyone.
you are absolutely beautiful!! (although im sure you know that). have a wonderful day friend!!
aw thank you! :3
10/9/14 To Quills. I am pretty sure you are the He I have seen on the bus around Marrickville and Newtown a couple of times.
I was so stunned by your everything that I had to stop my routine Bus Think and message my ex housemate to describe the cool kid with colourful things in her hair and father with exceptional everything duo.
Niki, this is that person who looked like the sassy cat from Cats! He exists.
I don't mind if this is weird or creepy I'm too excited..well I care some, because i edited my grammar. (from facebook. this pretty much made my year - Q)
