And curated the perfect socials to show off his assets.
Match the hatch — Tim gave Pai a story about working hard for his parents because it connected with Pai since he is the oldest and he must carry the burden of the family's reputation.
While Yu strategically told North he wanted a family to connect with North since North spent most of his time talking about his friends and family.

Reel it in — Tim comes off as understanding when Pai forgot to meet Tim's friends, yet Tim probably never had any friends to meet, and just threw it in, so he could seem understanding that Pai is too busy to remember his own schedule.
Since we've already been shown his schedule is packed.
He created the perfect bait to catch the big fish.
While Yu simply caught his in the wild with what he had on him.
