I just wanted to say: the "no cross pairing kissing" rule killed only friends: dream on narratively. It's so bland, especially when we know what it should have been. So many scenes are clumsy or don't make sense at all. They all look like scandalized victorian old ladies instead of the horny college students they should be. Tua stabs a mannequin and throws all of his best friends clothes out because of an almost kiss. Boston seems to be getting through the weirdest dry spell in human history (from being both the top and the bottom in a series to not being able to kiss one single mouth in the other). We have an angle kiss. In 2026. In a Thai BL. In the Thai BL that is supposed to be the craziest, messiest, horniest.

Only friends always gave me the feeling of not knowing what I was about to watch. In only friends: dream on, I always know what I will not be seeing.
