ready for it
Jackson!
( ... )
he’s still there in bed where jackson had left him untouched except for the shoes he’d loosened, slipped off, while his glameow watches from the window with sleepy eyes and a yawn as if, in the bustle of jackson cooking and stepping outside to feed whatever pokemon had arrived, he’s the one to look over the man. the cries collect, become a layered stream of sound – spearows caw and an aipom responds while the light of the rising sun rests against them as though it’s still sleeping, waiting.
jackson yawns, slips off his shirt to wipe at his forehead, his cheeks; he, too, waits, but for something else.
Things start of completely black. There are sounds of skittering claws and someone rushing around, but it’s hard to understand when he cant see. His head feels light, but at the same time there’s a notable ringing in his ears. It hurts. There are a few seconds where nothing makes sense. His body moves on it’s own- forcing him upright only for him to feel like everything around him has started spinning. He covers his eyes and lets out a hiss. It hurts a lot more than he wants to admit. Medicine... He needs medicine. Is he in his room? Where’s his bag? Where are his pokemon? He moves one of his hands slowly, and for the first time, he can see again.
This isn’t his room- his bed- none of it. In fact, this place isn’t even vaguely familiar. Minwoo’s eyes take a moment to adjust to the light- brows furrowed and fingers digging into the sheets in hopes of alleviating some of that painful sensation. He lets out a heavy breath. Was he breathing regularly to begin with? He doesn’t really know. It’s a little hard to think. He slowly swings his legs over the side of the bed and stands- footing not great but not enough to make him tumble to the ground. He walks toward to source of the commotion. There’s a glameow, one he’s never seen, but he doesn’t pay it too much attention. It’s cute, if nothing else... Maybe it belongs to the owner of this house.
He places a hand on the doorframe and looks into the other room. There’s a man there along with enough pokemon that Minwoo can’t help but feel just a little shocked. His eyes widen and he clears his throat just a little.
“Uh... Excuse me.” His voice is a little more clear now. The noise isn’t helping his head, but it would be rude to comment. “How... How did I get here? Who are you?”
