Thoughts on Endgame

I haven’t used this account in ages but I’m still not over Endgame and just wanna rant about it. Obviously SPOILERS under the cut below!

Ok, so overall I did REALLY enjoy the movie. It definitely had some flaws (their rules of time travel was a little confusing) but overall I think it did it’s job of wrapping up 10 years of movies. I will admit that besides Iron Man and then later Cpatain America and Thor, the original six never really interested me so I did slightly get over all the original six tributes while pushing most of the other characters on the shelf until the final battle. I think I’m just gonna ramble about what I liked, didn’t like, and wanted more of with each character because I have so many thoughts haha

Tony Stark/Iron Man:

-I think I’m one of the few people who’s ok with how he died?? Like I had a feeling he wasn’t going to survive but how he died still shocked me and made me sad to see him go. I don’t think it was out of character though, I totally think it’s something he would’ve done so I’m a little confused why people disagree on that.

-Besides that, I really loved watching him be a father with Morgan those were definitely some of the more tender scenes in the movie for sure!

-Also Morgan in general was just too cute!

-Also loved his reunion with Peter, and his talk with his father.

Steve Rodgers/Captain America:

-AMERICA’S ASS

-Him getting annoyed with his past self was great and I loved that there were two situations (”Bucky’s alive” and “Hail Hydra”) where he knew what to say to get out of the situation.

-Basically Captain America going back to New York 2012 was my favorite part of his story for this movie

-Now I DO agree with most people with how it didn’t make sense for him to go back in time. Like yeah it’s sweet, I guess, that he went back for Peggy but I kinda thought he got over all of that by the end of his trilogy? I honestly lowkey thought the girl he was dancing with wasn’t going to be Peggy. Like how wild would it be if it was just some random girl he met in the past and decided to be with her?

-Also does this mean Sharon Carter is his niece or???

Bruce Banner/Hulk:

-I HATE STAIRS

-Honestly it took me a minute to get used to the whole Professor Hulk thing but I did and it’s fine

-When the gauntlet messed him up after he used the snap to bring everyone back I knew that someone was gonna die using it (but I didn’t think of Tony when I was watching the movie)

Thor:

-They kinda kept mocking Thor throughout this movie and I don’t know how to feel about it after the Russo brothers basically erased all of his progress in Ragnarok.

-Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t mind him growing his hair and getting belly. In fact I loved that he was still going toe to toe with Thanos regardless.

-His scene with his mom was sweet but I found myself asking if it was necessary? But this might also be because I didn’t care for Thor: Dark World.

-Well I guess it makes sense in the end when he joins the Guardians of the Galaxy. Definitely one of the funnier scenes in the movie and I think he’d fit in well with them.

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow:

-Like I said before I didn’t really care for the original six but I FELT Black Widow’s death. It’s was beautifully tragic and I’m lowkey a sucker for that kinda shit.

-I knew SOMEONE was going to have to die when they went for the Soul Stone but before the movie I always thought it was gonna be either Cap or Tony and then during I thought (or, if I’m being honest, hoped) it would be Clint.

-I feel for the people saying she was robbed. She def should have had a proper funeral and it’s such a shame she couldn’t be apart of the EPIC A-Force team.

-Also I think I was the most bored (although it wasn’t too bad to be fair) during the scenes after her death and before the final battle because after they killed her our team became just a bunch of white guys, War Machine, and an evil Nebula. And that’s just a big YIKES that could’ve been avoided if they just included Okoye or Valkyrie in the mission.

-Also shouldn’t be alive? Since Cap returned the stone?

Clint Barton/Hawkeye:

-His family getting dusted in the beginning was ROUGH

-But honestly I’ve never cared for Hawkeye and didn’t in the film. I’m surprised he survived honestly.

Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel:

-I love that as soon as Carol came back she found Tony and Nebula and then proceeded to kick Thanos’s ass and help take him down

-I love that haircut, MY GOD

-I love that she showed up at the end and destroyed that entire ship.

-Her smile at Peter was so sweet.

-I really like that they had her go toe to toe with Thanos and basically beat him WHILE he had on the infinity glove. This just means the Avengers should have contacted Fury during IW so that he would’ve just called her during the last stand of Wakanda.

-Also with her fight versus Thanos, I like how they had him beat her. Let’s be fair, because she’s so powerful she’s a bit arrogant, which is why Thanos was able to pull a fast one and remove a stone to sneak attack her. It shows that yes she’s hella powerful, but she still has a few weaknesses that can be exploited.

-Love her in that black outfit.

Nebula and Gamora:

-I LOVED how much story arc Nebula got in this movie, it was one of the things I was hoping for.

-Her bonding with Tony was really sweet

-BUT NOT AS SWEET AS HER AND ROCKET HOLDING HANDS WHEN SHE RETURNED TO EARTH

-So her and Nebula 2012 are on the same wifi so that’s how their plan got ruined, right??

-Also how in the hell was Nebula 2012 able to get not only Thanos, but his WHOLE ASS ARMY to the future??

-Nebula killed her past self real quick though.

-I like that Gamora 2012 didn’t take forever and a year to help out the good guys

-Also what happened to her after Tony snapped?

-I love the bond between her and Nebula but I really thought they should have went up against Thanos at some point. Like towards the end right before he fought Carol and instead of Thor and Cap again (but again this movie catered to the original six so can’t want that

Valkyrie and Okoye:

-These two were the main reasons I was excited to see Endgame so I feel ROBBED

-How are y’all gonna go and recruit Thor and then just leave Valkyrie behind? She fights as good, if not better, than him? And I think she was more stable?

-Once they found out about Jane from Thor, they should of just switched him out with Valkyrie since Rocket had no problem finding her once they were there.

-Also it was kinda funny during the promotions of the movie to see SO many people confused about Valkyrie surviving. Like y’all not pay attention? Thanos only murders half the population of every planet he invades. Like that’s a theme that’s been very much established lol

-And not hearing about Okoye (besides that meaningless hologram scene) or Wakanda after the snapped was wack. Her home was attacked trying to protect a doomed robot and she lost T’challa and Shuri because of it. HOW ARE WE NOT SEEING HOW SHE DEALS WITH IT??

-Honestly they should’ve just dusted Okoye and Valkyrie if they were just gonna only use them at the end when all the other characters return.

-But they’re fight scenes were SO good.

-Valkyrie on that pegasus ripping that giant monster apart was a MOOD

-It’s cool she ends up Queen of Asgard but does that mean she won’t come back for a Thor sequel?

Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch:

-Wanda showing up and beating the living shit out of Thanos was my favorite scene in the movie.

-I literally whispered ‘Hell yeah’ when she landed in between Thanos and T’challa

-Also I really hope Vision comes back so we can somehow get Billy and Tommy and get a Young Avengers movie

T’Challa/Black Panter and Shuri:

-When these two walked through the portal with Okoye I turned to the stranger next to me and said “Oh finally, we’re getting shit done’ and they laughed nodded haha

-T’challa should’ve fought Thanos by himself but it’s fine he didn’t I guess

-Also I’m almost positive the Russo brothers dusted Shuri only after IW was done and that’s why we didn’t see it. Because they realized it probably wouldn’t have taken her five years to figure out a way to bring back the others.

-It would’ve been neat at the end when Scott and Hope realize the time machine was broken if Shuri just showed up and fixed it in seconds.

Rocket and Groot:

-Rocket was funny throughout the movie but didn’t really do much.

-We needed more Groot in the end. Like action wise and moments with the other characters wise, but I’m just greedy because I love him haha

-Rocket should’ve stole Bucky’s arm.

Sam Wilson/Falcon:

-MY CAPTAIN AMERICA IS BLACK NOW BITCHES, THAT’S IT

Everyone else was cool and didn’t really leave a lasting impression on me except for maybe Ant-Man but he was just really funny the whole time to me. Again I really liked the movie and I admit that I knew I wasn’t going to be fully satisfied since this movie was about the original six. But I just hope the next time we get a movie with this much characters involved, we really use more of them story wise and not just for big fight scenes at the end. Infinity War was close but I need more (I’m annoying I know haha)

Also the movie did not feel like it was three hours at all, so good for the Russo brothers when it came to that!

Cinematic Comic Characters Ranked! (Year 2012) Final Part

After the explosion of new characters introduced in 2011′s list, this year’s list is a bit more calm. Returning for the last time is Dark Knight Rises, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, and Men in Black 3. We also get a fresh new face for The Amazing Spider-Man and a prequel of sorts in Prometheus. This year also debuts The Avengers, Marvel’s mega blockbuster. Without further ado, here’s the Top 20!

*SPOILERS FOR ALL THE HIGHLIGHTED MOVIES ABOVE*

20. Aunt May (The Amazing Spider-Man)

In the first trilogy Aunt May is always there supporting Peter and even though this Aunt May does the same, we also see she's extremely worried about him. We see how much she cares and how terrified she is every time Peter comes back with more bruises on his body for comfort. She can't understand him but she wants to so bad that it's breaking her heart. She literally has to force herself to accept that Peter isn't going to open up to her anytime soon so as long as he comes home, she'll be content.

19. Nick Fury (The Avengers)

This is the first list done to feature Nick Fury outside of the cameo appreciation slot. No more surprise appearances at the end of the credits, Nick Fury is rounding up the Avengers to take on Loki and his alien army. Nick Fury shows that he can demand attention in any room, which is necessary when trying to negotiate with an arrogant billionaire, a super solider, and a Hulk! He does whatever he can to get the mission done, including disobeying his higher commanders and slightly using Agent Coulson's death to his advantage but it's because he cares for the human race and feels it's his duty to protect them.

18. Alfred Pennyworth (The Dark Knight Rises)

Can anyone blame Alfred for wanting Bruce to quit being Batman? Especially after everything that happened with Bane? Alfred has looked after Bruce since he was born and it had gotten to be too much for him to see him continuously hurting himself. And he realized that at Bruce's age, it was only a matter of time before the suit killed him. So he did what he thought was the only thing he could do in his position, he left. But man did my heart break when he thought Bruce died. It was like losing his son and I just could not watch him cry, I COULD NOT. But it's ok, because Bruce didn't die. And Alfred got to see his hopes come true by seeing Bruce living a peaceful life without the Batman.

17. Phil Coulson/Agent Coulson (The Avengers)

Agent Coulson has been warming up to us since his debut in Iron Man. Always handling business for S.H.I.E.L.D, his dream comes true when he finally gets to meet his longtime idol, Captain America, when the super soldier joins the Avengers. Sadly the first union is shortly interrupted with Loki's attack in which Coulson bravely dies trying to stop him. His death is what finally brings the Avengers together, though, to stop Loki in New York.

16. Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Like most Spider-Man villains who have been featured on this list, Dr. Connors wasn't really a bad guy but a victim of his own creation. Creating a cure to save his boss and regain his lost limb, Connors ends up becoming The Lizard who nearly destroys all of New York with his serum until Spider-Man is able to reduce the effect. He returns to normal, but still ends up being arrested.

15. Captain Stacy (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Captain Stacy is a man of the law, a law he firmly believes in. Of course this means that he does not like this new vigilante running around taking down criminals on his own. This causes Peter to be extra careful dating his daughter, Gwen, but all precautions go out the window once The Lizard gets involved and finds out Peter's identity. During the final battle Stacy finally manages to capture Spider-Man and finds out he's Peter Parker. Even though he believes in the law, he also knows how to do the right thing and helps Peter take down The Lizard, but not before he's mortally wounded. In his last breath, Captain Stacy begs Peter to stay away from Gwen for her own safety.

14. James Gordon (The Dark Knight Rises)

Now Commissioner of the Gotham City Police Department, Gordon's problems have only gotten bigger. Now he has to lead a chase after Batman for Harvey Dent's death, despite knowing his innocence, and deal with Bane as well. A confrontation with Bane gets him severely injured and he ends up getting replaced by his own partner. Despite this, he still works with Deputy John Blake to help save the city from Bane and once he's back on his feet he takes an even on the scene approach and helps Batman save Gotham one last time.

13. Gwen Stacy (The Amazing Spider-Man)

In the Spider-Man reboot we didn't welcome back Mary Jane, we brought Gwen Stacy front and center. Gwen was super sweet and smart and when it's revealed Peter's attraction towards her are mutual, they begin to date! One of the crazier things about this relationship that hasn't really been a thing in superhero movies is Peter ends up telling Gwen he's Spider-Man pretty early on in the relationship. To me this only helps him in the long run as she's able to help Peter as she faces off against the Lizard and even develops an antidote to his mutating serum. She loses her dad and Peter breaks up with her soon after, but when she seems to figure out the two are connected something tells me she's not going to give up on Peter so easily.

12. Robin John Blake (The Dark Knight Rises)

A rookie police office for the GCPD, it was clear from the get go that there was something special about John. Being an orphan himself, he looked up to Bruce and even deduced he was Batman and still kept it to himself. His role during Bane's takeover of the city is pivotal as he's the eyes and ears of Bruce and James Gordon, who are both injured severely from their separate encounters with Bane. When all is said and done, and Batman retires, it's revealed that Bruce gave the whereabouts to the cave to John, hinting him being Gotham's next vigilante.

11. Loki (The Avengers)

The trickster god is back after his apparent 'defeat' in the previous Thor film. He comes to Earth seeking the Tesseract, which will allow him to borrow the alien army from The Other and take over Earth. He acts fast, quickly snatching the Tesseract and enslaving Hawkeye and Selvigg. As a god of mischief, Loki toys around with Thor and the other Avengers the entire movie, even pretending to be their prisoner so he could attack them with Hawkeye. After killing Agent Coulson, Loki escapes and sets up the Battle of New York by opening a worm hole for his alien army. He honestly would've been higher on the list had it not been for the fact that he was basically just a pawn in Thanos's grand scheme to collect all the Infinity Stones. He was also taken down fairly easy by the Hulk and his alien army just didn't hold up against the five Avengers.

10. Thor (The Avengers)

The god of thunder returns to seek his evil adopted brother from Earth. Thor can be really brash and likes to hit first, ask questions later which is why he ends up in brawl with Iron Man and Captain America when they first meet. His lack of knowledge when it comes to Earth customs is still very endearing and his power as a thunder god becomes extremely handy during the Battle of New York, where he takes on most of the army by himself with his giant hammer.

9. Bruce Banner/Hulk (The Avengers)

Black Widow recruits Banner on the SHIELDS behalf simply because the radioactive scientist is one of the smartest men there is and can use the radioactivity to find Loik and the Tesseract. His...angrier half does become an issue when Hawkeye attacks the aircraft Bruce is in, turning him into the Hulk and fighting off Thor. In the battle of New York The Hulk is able to focus on the real enemies, and is able to take on just as many aliens as Thor, if not more. He also beats the crap out of Loki, a beating I'm positive will stick with him forever.

8. Elizabeth Shaw (Prometheus)

If anyone on the ship of Prometheus had a really rough time, it was Shaw. All she wanted to do was see if she can discover The Engineers, a species she believes created humans. What she ends up finding out is that not only did they create humans, they want to destroy them. She also finds out that the crew's android feels the same way and IMPREGNATES her with alien bacteria. She has to get the most painful c-section I think I've ever witnessed to the grossest looking alien demon spawn in the movie. At least the baby sort of comes to her rescue when it attacks the Engineer trying to kill her but she dumbly puts her faith back in David, the android, and has him take her to the Engineers home planet. Yeah, because that's a bright idea.

7. Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (The Avengers)

Black Widow is one of SHIELDS best agents, who jumps on board in stopping Loki when she discovers he's mind controlling Hawkeye, her longtime friend. As the only female in the Avengers lineup, Widow is constantly having to deal with the giant male egos living within Iron Man, Thor, and even Captain America. After she breaks Hawkeye free of his mind control she helps out in the Battle of New York. For a member with no powers of fancy suits, she holds up her own and manages to determine how to close the worm hole and save the city.

6. Peter Parker/Spider-Man (The Amazing Spider-Man)

It was a little refreshing to see a new take on the famous web-slinger. This Peter Parker was still nerdy but he already had this confidence about him that didn't just come once he was bitten by the radioactive spider. His taunting as Spider-Man was very on point with the one from the comics and his handling of Uncle Ben's death and the aftermath was very real to me. Making his idenity known to his girlfriend really complicated things when it turns out her dad is the same police chief that wants to take him down and when The Lizard tries to use her as bait to lure him out. Still he manages to over come his enemy but when the police chief dies he decides to honor his last wish and stop seeing Gwen. Towards the end though he starts to question whether or not he should listen, or follow his heart.

5. Selina Kyle/Catwoman (The Dark Knight Rises)

Catwoman has returned to the big screen and she brings in so much fun in contrast to Batman's often very serious nature. The girl knows how to play the game, selling out anyone she can, including Bruce but its pretty clear she regrets it after he takes that beating from Bane. After she breaks out of prison she helps Batman take back the city and kills Bane herself. Seems the sparks between them were strong enough because when Bruce fakes his death, he flees with Selina to Italy where they live out their lives.

4. Steve Rodgers/Captain America (The Avengers)

After being being thawed out and thrown into present times, Steve Rodgers gets to return to the Captain America mantle when he's needed to stop Loki. He's still all about honor so it makes since why he doesn't get along with Tony Stark at all. It seems he only really enjoys Bruce Banner and maybe even Natasha but that's about it. Being idolized by Agent Coulson makes him embarrassed but its that idolizing that has Captain America truly step up to stop Loki when the trickster kills Agent Coulson. Despite not getting along, Captain America and Iron Man truly work well together and it's Captain America's leadership that helps the Avengers stop Loki and his alien army.

3. Bane (The Dark Knight Rises)

Bane is everything Ra's Al Ghul ever wanted with Brcue when he trained under him. He knows how to destroy the system from within and manages to accomplish two things no other villain has been able to before. One, unlike Ra's, he not only defeats Batman but breaks him completely with a shattered spine. Two, he manages to take over Gotham, something not even the Joker managed to pull. He's even able to hold his grip over the city for months, which could have been his downfall since it gave Bruce the opportunity to heal and learn the truth about him and Talia al Ghul. He meets his end when him and Batman go head to head once more and Selina shoots him.

2. Tony Stark/Iron Man (The Avengers)

Outside of Black Widow and Hawkeye, who were already members of SHIELD, Iron Man was the first hero to be recruited into the Avengers. The biggest problem with Iron Man is, shocker, his ego. He's mad talented and one of the smartest people alive, but being a team player is not his specialty which causes some issues with the other members of the team. With the stakes so high, Tony does manage to step up where it counts and takes a page out of Steve's book by sacrificing himself to throw the nuclear missile targeted for New York into the worm hole containing all the invading aliens. Luckily the Hulk manages to save him at the last second, but that moment is definitely one of growth for our hero.

1. Bruce Wayne/Batman (The Dark Knight Rises)

Christian Bale gave his best performance for his last one of Bruce Wayne/Batman. On the run from GCPD for years after taking the credit for Harvey Dent's death, Batman faces his biggest challenge in the form of Bane. On his last fight to save the city Batman teams up with old allies like James Gordon and Lucius Fox and new ones like Catwoman and John Blake. Bane also represents new and old, despite being a new villain, he's a mercenary for the League of Shadows helping Talia al Ghul seek revenge after Bruce killed her father. After breaking his back in a fight with Bane, Bruce has to reconstruct himself in a hell prison to truly understand his enemy. When he escapes he fights back to take his city. What I love is he knows when it's time to hang up the cape, faking his death and running away to Italy with Selina Kyle.

Cinematic Comic Characters Ranked! (Year 2012) Part II

This year also debuts The Avengers, Marvel’s mega blockbuster. Without further ado, here’s #42-21!

*SPOILERS FOR ALL THE HIGHLIGHTED MOVIES ABOVE*

42. Colonel James Darrel Edwards Jr. (Men in Black 3)

At first Colonel Edwards just seemed like a military officer who ended up coming through and helping our agents save the world from a ridiculous alien man. The twist was showed after he ended up dying however, something that was hinted by Griffin the entire time. He's Agent J's dad! Who knew Agent J would be able to reunite with his father even after his death.

41. Erik Selvigg (The Avengers)

We saw at the end of Thor that poor Erik was being possessed by Loki the entire time he was working with SHIELD. So it's no surprise when he helps Loki gain control over the tesseract and then help it create a portal that would allow the invasion of an entire alien army in the middle of New York City. Luckily, even a mind controlled Erik created a way to close the portal, which the Avengers were able to do at the last second.

40. Roarke/Mephistopheles (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance)

The devil is back disguised as another man and ripping off even more people with the promise of something great in return for their souls, and then going back on his promise as soon as he get what he wants. This time he manages to convince a woman to carry his demon child so that he could posses the kid and take over the world. Of course Ghost Rider shows up to stop everything before he really does any damage, just like last time.

39. John Daggert and Philip Stryver (The Dark Knight Rises)

There's always got to be someone working at Wayne Enterprises that wants to take everything from Bruce and take over the company. John Daggert, with the help of his assistant, kinda ends up doing just that by hiring Bane to get Bruce's prints to mess with the company and get Bruce to lose all his fortune. However, he DID hire Bane, who of course betrayed him in favor of starting his new world order and killed him. His assistant, Phillip, doesn't get off the hook. He gets sentenced to exile by Scarecrow and is forced to walk on the frozen waters surrounding Gotham City. They're not too frozen and with one wrong step, Phillip sinks to his death.

38. Peter Foley (The Dark Knight Rises)

After Gordon starts losing popularity with the Mayor, Foley decides he's going to try to take Gordon's job from under him. He does this by doing whatever he can to catch the Batman and also ignores all the warnings Gordon and Blake tried to give him about Bane's army hiding in the sewers. He doesn't listen, and when Bane takes over Gotham he goes in hiding until Gordon calls him out. He participates in the final confrontation against Bane's men, but dies when Talia orders her driver to shoot him down.

37. Fifield and Millburn (Prometheus)

Even though I didn't care for Millburn, I was kinda rooting for Fifield. He's the only one in the entire team that just doesn't like the idea of finding the Engineers at all. He knew better than to mess with things he didn't understand but his mistake was traveling with Millburn, who ends up messing with an cobra-like alien. Of course said alien ends up attacking them but when Fifield tries to cut Millburn loose, the aliens blood burns through his mask. The alien then goes inside Millburn's suit and enters his body through his mouth! The next time we see Millburn he's dead but Fifield ends up showing up as an infected psychopath and ends up killing most of the crew in a blind rage before he's taken down.

36. Peter Weyland (Prometheus)

Weyland is the old rich guy who's company is funding the entire expedition because he wants to secretly join the group and hopefully find a way to stay alive forever. Even though the guy looks like he's seconds from dying, he manages to somehow walk his old ass to the crashed ship to speak with an Engineer, but nothing goes as planned as the Engineer beats him to death as soon as he wakes up.

35. Moreau (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance)

Even though Moreau was the only likable character in this god forsaken movie for me, it just wasn't enough to save it. He pops in every now and then as an ally to Ghost Rider and Danny and he even has the ability to change Ghost Rider into a blue flamed spirit but of course he dies after that so I guess thanks for the assist, Moreau.

34. Chance and Ravel (Prometheus)

The two pilots under Janek and were probably the most loyal members on the crew. They never got out to explore the dangerous new planet they landed on so they pretty much stayed out of harms way until the very end. When Janek must sacrifice himself to crash  the ship into the one controlled by the Engineer, Chance and Ravel elect to stay behind and help him.

33. Maria Hill (The Avengers)

Maria Hill is a SHIELD agent that's mostly seen side by side with Nick Fury. Even though it was pretty easy to forget her when she's surrounded by billionaires, super soldiers, and Norse Gods, she does have some pretty cool moments that proves she is not someone to mess with.

32. Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance)

I'm just gonna say it, Nicholas Cage frustrates me as an actor. There have been so many times where he makes me cringe and I feel like I'm the only one who feels that way. Even though his weirdness sorta kinda worked for the first Ghost Rider, it was the complete opposite for this one. It was just so bad. His ridiculous screaming was just the cherry on top to this once-decent character that is now absolute trash.

31. Lucius Fox (The Dark Knight Rises)

Unlike the last two films, Lucius doesn't get to show off some awesome new gadgets for Batman because he's busy running around trying to make sure Bruce's company doesn't end up in the wrong hands. Of course, none of that matters once Bane takes over the city and Lucius is spent mostly as one of the hostages the freed prisoners have recently taken. He plays a big role in trying to stop the reactor core and afterwards takes over the business after Bruce's supposed dead.

30. Griffin (Men in Black 3)

Griffin was fun to watch and he really showed a different side to someone who is clairvoyant. Throughout the entire movie we watch as he sees every single outcome that could happen, some even have drastic differences based on the if Agent J drank chocolate milk or not. Despite all this, he knows that SOMEONE has to die when stopping Boris, something he just can't bring himself to watch. Ending with him in the diner was a bit weird, but this was a weird movie.

29. The Engineers (Prometheus)

From the beginning we knew that the Engineers were a big deal. Not only were they thought to be the creators of the human race, but they were also the creators of the alien virus meant to destroy them. The Engineers tasked with releasing it accidentally set it loose on themselves though and ended up dying out. Except for one. This last Engineer is in a cryo sleep until Weyland's team wake him up. They think he's going to have all the answers, but he ends up just killing most of them. He's only stopped when Shaw releases her overgrown alien baby on him, which is revealed to be a super-sized face hugger. Through this Engineer we see the birth of the first alien as it rips out of his chest, but thank goodness it's on a planet all by itself.

28. Miranda Tate/Talia al Ghul (The Dark Knight Rises)

If you read the comics you wouldn't be surprised when its learned that Ra's al Ghul's child isn't actually Bane, but Talia al Ghul. It did take me a little longer to figure out that Talia was, in fact, Miranda Tate, Bruce's business partner that he was trusting with the energy core. I thought her little plan of revenge was a bit much just because it didn't even seem like she had a relationship with Ra's anyway, so why was it a big deal that Batman killed him to protect a city of millions? Unlike the comics she isn't as deadly physically and is really only a good schemer so when her plan went to waste, she died pretty easy.

27. Agent K (Men in Black 3)

Boris the Animal goes back in time to change one thing, and that's Agent K. With him dead there's no one stopping him from having his alien creatures invade Earth. It's also why Agent J goes back in time to help save younger Agent K. This younger version is similar to the agent we know but also a lot different. They're both share their deadpan faces but Agent K actually has no problem opening up to Agent J as opposed to the older version who always changes and/or ignores the subject. With the help of J, his father, and Griffin, Agent K is able to change history back to normal and save the planet.

26. Clint Barton/Hawkeye (The Avengers)

Out of all the Avengers that were featured, Hawkeye was the one that came out with the short stick. For most of the movie he was under Loki's control, and even though he is extremely talented with his bow and arrow, most of the time it felt like he was just a nuisance. Once Black Widow knocked some sense back into him, he joined the other Avengers in fighting off Loki's army. But the problem with being a skilled archer is that eventually you're gonna run out of arrows. Luckily the others were able to defeat Loki before things got really bad for Hawkeye.

25. Meredith Vickers (Prometheus)

So the whole movie I thought Meredith was on board because she had a really twisted evil plan, but her motivation was pretty simple. She wanted the crew to fail so Weyland could finally die and she could take over the company. Knowing that, it makes perfect sense as to why she did not hesitate to burn Holloway, because she wasn't risking anything that would kill her. The entire time she was doing everything she could to save herself. Too bad she just didn't roll to the side before getting crushed by that falling ship.

24. Charlie Holloway (Prometheus)

So Charlie got screwed over because he kept making fun of David, not knowing the robot dude was already plotting on him and gave him the final push to infect his ass. I'm honestly not sure if anything different would've happen if he treated David with a little decency but he didn't and the virus quickly spread. Charlie did have enough time to get it on with Shaw the night before the virus really started kicking in, which ends up spelling bad news for Shaw. When the team tries to help him, Charlie knows whatever it is he's infected with isn't going to stop so he allows Vickers to burn him alive.

23. Agent J (Men in Black 3)

Agent J tackles the biggest mission of his life: going back in time to stop some ridiculous looking alien from killing Agent K. Agent J is a comedian so watching him interact with the past, where Andy Warhol parties were a huge thing and where Agent K was a lot more loose about his personal life was funny to watch, but things got pretty real. He had to deal with an even worse case racial profiling with police and he had to watch how his dad's death came to be. But still, the sweetest thing was him getting to see that the first person to comfort him was Agent K.

22. Janek (Prometheus)

I really liked Janek but like, everyone on the ship liked Janek. Even Vickers liked him and she hated everyone. He was someone that just liked flying his ship in space, he didn't care about meeting his creators or anything like that because he didn't care about the validation. He's a simple man but he still has no problem doing what he needs to do to save Earth. So when Shaw mentions that an Engineer is flying off to destroy his entire planet, he bravely sacrifices himself and crashes his ship into the Engineers.

21. David (Prometheus)

I knew something was up with David. It's just a bad combination to put a robot who is starting to develop curiosity about his own life and whether or not he has meaning mixed with a bunch of crewman who treat him like shit. You know what that equals? Him plotting their demise. Like he really infected Charlie just to see what would happen. Luckily he was taken out of the game early when the lone surviving Engineer ripped his head off, but since he's a robot he didn't die and he convinces Shaw to take him with her when she leaves.

Cinematic Comic Characters Ranked! (Year 2012) Part I

After the explosion of new characters introduced in 2011′s list, this year’s list is a bit more calm. Returning for the last time is Dark Knight Rises, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, and Men in Black 3. We also get a fresh new face for The Amazing Spider-Man and a prequel of sorts in Prometheus. This year also debuts The Avengers, Marvel’s mega blockbuster. Without further ado, here’s #58-43 as well as our cameo appreciations!

Cameo Appreciation: Thanos (The Avengers)

We all knew that a bigger threat was pulling the strings during the Avengers and at the end of the movie's post credits, it's revealed to be the titan, Thanos, who sits on his throne plotting his next attack.

Cameo Appreciation: Stan Lee (The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man)

Stan Lee graces us with two cameos for the movies Avengers and The Amazing Spider-Man. In Avengers, he's a true stubborn old man from New York who does not buy that there are actually aliens or that they were stopped by a team of superheroes. His scene in Spider-Man is so far one of my favorites as it's him listening to music and tending to his books, completely unaware that Spider-Man and The Lizard are wrecking havoc on each other just behind him.

Cameo Appreciation: Gustav Fiers/The Gentlemen (The Amazing Spider-Man)

At the end of the film, a mysterious shadow man that ends up being the villain, The Gentlemen, shows up to have a chat with Dr. Connors in his jail cell. It seems he's in on what really happened to Peter's parents and has some plans of his own when he decides to leave the cell.

Cameo Appreciation: Ra's al Ghul (The Dark Knight Rises)

The first villain Batman ever faced comes back as a hallucination that taunts Bruce after his defeat from Bane. It's the hallucination that gives Bruce his first clue that Ghul had a child, but Bruce mistakenly thinks it's Bane.

58. Other (The Avengers)

The Other plays in the background for the entire movie. He's a servant to Thanos and speaks for him when interacting with Loki. He's also the one who gives Loki his alien army.

57. Richard and Mary Parker (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Unlike the last Spider-Man trilogy, this one actually does feature Peter's parents at the beginning of the film. They still die, but the mysterious surrounding Peter's father, Richard, plays a big part throughout the film.

56. Rajit Ratha (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Rajit Ratha falls into the troupe that most bosses do in the Spider-Man films. He fires Dr. Connors, which eventually leads to his transformation into The Lizard. Unlike the other bosses, Ratha doesn't die, although he very nearly does before Spider-Man shows up to save him.

55. Boris the Animal (Men in Black 3)

It's just a fact that I absolutely hate the villains in the Men in Black series. They're so lame, they're disgusting to look at, they have horrible puns (even in a movie filled with horrible puns) and they're just an overall annoyance every time they're on screen. Boris the Animal is no difference. I hated those sunglasses and every time he opened his mouth to talk I would just get his with waves upon waves of annoyance.

54. Flash Thompson (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Peter's familiar bully is back but with an interesting twist. Yes, he still bullies Peter pretty badly pre-spider bite but once Peter becomes Spider-Man and humiliates the kid in front of his peers, Flash actually becomes a little more friendly. He tries to console Peter after his uncle dies and at the end of the movie he and Peter are friends and talking about hanging out after school.

53. Ford (Prometheus)

Ford was the team's medic and participated in all the travel missions Shaw lead to the Engineers ship. We don't ever find out what's her opinion about everything, but she's keen to doing her job. She's with the group when they try to awake the Engineer and is killed when the Engineer overpowers her with a smack to the chest.

52. Leonid Pavel (The Dark Knight Rises)

Pavel is a scientist that is trying to escape from Bane. He tries to go to the FBI'S aid, but Bane manages to steal him away from a moving plane! He's forced to turn Bruce Wayne's clean energy core into a bomb before Bane kills him in front of hundreds of people at a football game.

51. Ray Carrigan/Blackout (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance)

I just think it's funny when evil forces like the devil look at at lackey like Ray, who got his ass handed to him by Ghost Rider, and decide that making him a demon spawn is what will make him better. No! Like get someone who can handle his own before the demon spawn powers. Plus, he looked ridiculous once he became Blackout. His powers to kill everything he touches doesn't even work on Ghost Rider so all of that was unnecessary.

50. Nadya Ketch (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance)

Nadya had good intentions when it came to taking care of Danny which, you know, is understandable seeing as she's his mom and all that, but man she really made her life difficult just for the sake of having a life. I mean if I'm dying I think I'd rather die than carry the devil's child inside me and then constantly run for my life once the kid's born, it's just not worth it to me. But apparently it was for her, even though she really just narrowly escaped every time and got in the way when Ghost Rider tried to handle things.

49. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow (The Dark Knight Rises)

Scarecrow is back and he serves as the judge of Gotham's new order. He never really hears out anyone's defense as there's only two ways a case can go: death or exile, even though everyone that gets exiled presumably dies. When Batman and the group take over it's safe to saw Scarecrow was probably placed back in jail.

48. Pepper Potts (The Avengers)

Pepper shows up briefly in Avengers enjoying the night with her new boo, Tony. She's the one that gets Tony to agree to read up on Fury's mission and thus joins the Avengers, but I'm pretty sure Tony was just being dramatic. Tony tries to call her before he sacrifices himself but she's too busy watching the attack on TV, and why wouldn't she? She's worried about her man!

47. Danny Ketch (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance)

Unlike most kids with the devil as a father, Danny seemed to be more human than demon aka he had soul. He had a cool power that allowed him to control the Ghost Rider but it didn't really come in handy when he was being kidnapped by a bunch of regular humans. I wish I could like the kid more but, like every other character in this movie, I didn't care at all.

46. Troy (The Amazing Spider-Man)

Who's Troy, you might ask? Allow me to remind you who this brave man is. You see when The Lizard first attacks this man's child nearly dies in their car but Spider-Man goes above and beyond to save him (he even takes off his mask, risking his identity, to keep the kid calm). Troy never forgets that and when Spider-Man needs help confronting The Lizard for the final time, Troy's there. He gets all his construction buddies to help an injured Spider-Man get all the way to OsCorp, further proving how the people of New York all love Spider-Man.

45. Agent W (Men in Black 3)

I loved the idea of Andy Warhol being an agent who's just pretending to be this exuberant person the entire time and hates every second of it. It's just one of those things where he was probably saying whatever came off the top of his head and everyone around him ate it up and now he's completely miserable.

44. Agent O (Men in Black 3)

Agent O becomes the new head of the Men in Black after Agent Z dies. She's the one to figure out that something must have been done in the past to change the future and sends Agent J to go fix the time continuum. When he does go back into the past, Agent O is just starting out as a secretary that seems to have a thing for Agent K. Both past and present K swear they were just friendly coworkers but I agree with J and feel like something was definitely going on.

43. Ben Parker (The Amazing Spider-Man)

This version of Uncle Ben didn't really affect me like the first one did. He wasn't bad, but the original trilogy's Uncle Ben was just so good I felt that he was everyone's uncle. But he was an honest man who did his best to raise Peter with Aunt May despite him having so many questions about his parents. I like that he didn't hide the truth when Peter discovered things or seemed to know what Peter was going through at certain times of his life. His death was a little more harsh, in my opinion, because we actually saw it happen literally seconds after Peter decides not to help.

Today’s ranking is covering comic book characters introduced in Cinematic film in 2001. Our three contenders are Josie and the Pussycats, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and Ghost World. I had no idea each one had a comic series. I never heard of Ghost World, but I knew that the Pussycats had a TV show and that Tomb Raider is one of the most iconic games in history. 20. Kato (The Green Hornet)

"Go be a journalist. I'll kick ass."

If anyone should have been the Green Hornet, it should have be Kato. His fighting skills are great, his driving skills are even better, and his abilities with machinery have not only created the best cars for fighting crime, but also the best coffee machines. Instead he chooses to be Britt's sidekick and even though he kicks the other dude's ass on several occasions, Kato still decides to put up with him for reasons no one will understand. Oh and he can't swim, which is random, but yeah.

19. Heimdall (Thor)

"I need no longer to obey you!"

Heimdall is the seer of all things and protects the portal outside of Asgard. When the Frost Giants break into Asgard he suspects someone has figured out how to fool his abilities, and what a greater suspect than the master of illusion himself, Loki. He suspicion for the male increases when Loki becomes King and he not only sends Thor's friends to retrieve him from Earth but he also tries to attack Loki himself. Loki freezes him but his will to protect Asgard gives him the strength to break free and bring Thor and his friends back home.

18. Captain Haddock (The Adventures of Tintin)

"You hit a wall, you push through it."

He might be drunk, but you can't take away Haddock's passion towards life and the seas. It's in his blood to be a true adventure seeker in the ocean and his biggest adventure comes when Tintin reveals his ancestor, Sir Francis, has hidden away treasure. The pair work brilliantly together and in the end, Haddock takes down his biggest rival while restoring honor back to his family's name.

17. Priestess (Priest)

"We've all sacrificed. Some more than others."

When the church sends Priestess to hunt down Priest for breaking his vow, she decides to join him in his quest instead. She's a huge gain to the cause, she seems to have the same skills as Priest and is also to help him almost instantly when he needs it, which is most of the time. In fact, during the last stand, Priestess not only takes out all the familiars, but she distracts Black Hat from killing Priest and also blows up the train full of vampires that would have otherwise destroyed their city. It's hinted she has feelings for Priest but she puts them aside to recruit the rest of the priests to help them on their future missions.

16. Jane Foster (Thor)

"Magic's just science we don't understand yet."

Jane's passion for science goes beyond the facts in front of her. She constantly tries to push the limit so that she can discover something truly amazing. It comes of the form of Thor, the god of thunder and someone she manages to hit with her car. Twice. She may not fully believe his stories at first, his unique charm really helps the chemistry between them and she does what she can to help him retrieve his mighty hammer, even if technically she only did it so she could get her research back from SHIELD. When Thor returns to Asgard she isn't sure whether or not she'll see him again, so instead of waiting to find out, she's back in the lab, trying to figure out how to reach him on her own.

15. Jake Lonergan (Cowboys & Aliens)

"I'm a wanted man."

Even though he lost his memory, Jake at least was able to kick into his natural instincts from the get go. With his fancy little alien gun he becomes the leader of the human resistance against the aliens. Turns out he managed to escape the alien captivity after his wife is killed and he slash's an alien's eye to escape. He casually handles every obstacle that gets into his way until he ends up actually getting caught by said alien but manages to kill him with the help of Dolarhyde. With the town in his debt, Jake is announced a free man and is no longer at risk of rotting in a jail cell.

14. Peggy Carter/Agent Carter (Captain America: The First Avenger)

"I can do more than that."

Yo, Peggy was a freaking force of nature. She literally did everything the soldiers around her did but in heels! It was her training that showed everyone that Steve was ready for the super soldier serum and she even got to show how sick she is with a gun when Red Skull's assassin snuck into their headquarters. It sucks that Steve had to die just shortly after their relationship was starting to go to the next level, but I'm pretty sure Agent Carter goes on to be the best agent this country has seen.

13. Sebastian Shaw (X-Men: First Class)

"We are the future of the human race."

One always wonders what kinds of horrors Magento must've have went through in the concentration camps that caused his hatred for humans, and most of the horrors were because of Sebastian Shaw. Wanting to learn more about mutant abilities, Shaw tortures Erik and even kills his mother to get his research. He seems unfazed by the kid's growing hatred and power and it's probably because he's not only the leader of the Hellfire Club, an organization of powerful mutants, he's also a powerful mutant himself. He can direct every type of bullet/energy into destruction for his enemies. His main goal is to create WWIII, a nuclear war that would kill the human race and leave him to rule the mutant survivors. He has the charisma to get away with it, but with Magneto as an enemy, he stood no chance. Killed by the very quarter he used in Erik's lessons, Shaw's dreams do actually end up living on through Magneto.

12. Hicks (Priest)

"Point A? Meet Point fucking B."

I thought Hicks was going to be that guy who always gets in the way but that wasn't the case at all. He really handled himself for someone who has never gone up against vampires, his skills easily proving why he was the sheriff despite his young age. Even though he wouldn't have lasted nearly as long as he had without Priest and Priestess, he was a great supporting character who even saved Priest towards the end. Of course his main goal is to save his girlfriend, Lucy, and he's able to do just that.

11. Hank McCoy/Beast (X-Men: First Class)

"Don't mock me!"

Hank is a sweet boy who, like Mystique, wants to hide the more uglier effects of his mutation. In his case it's his feet even though his skills when he uses them is what attracts Raven to him in the first place. Still, his feelings for her aren't enough to keep him from taking the serum he created but it only makes matters worse and turns him into the blue Beast we all recognize today. He accepts his mutant self after this, but its clear that whatever he had with Mystique is over as she decides to join Magneto's Brotherhood and he stays with Charles.

10. Odin (Thor)

"Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor!"

Odin is an honorable King of Asgard, who truly makes every decision for a specific reason. But even he has trouble raising his two sons. On one hand he has Thor, who isn't quite ready to rule as he's too hot headed to truly make decisions with the kingdom's interest at heart. It must've been so hard for Odin to banish him, but it's what needed to be done for him to truly understands what it means to rule unselfishly. Then on the other hand he has Loki, who has been plotting to take over since the very beginning and gets even more fuel when he finds out he's adopted. All of it is too much and Odin ends up slipping into a cosmic coma until the very end of the film, where he acknowledges the growth in Thor now that he's saved Asgard.

9. Priest (Priest)

"Then I go against God."

Most of the priests and priestess are recruited into the church when they are young, but for some reason Priest joins when he's an adult. You'd think this would make him weaker than the rest but it seems he's not only the strongest, but also their leader. When the vampires are defeated, he goes into hiding until his old ally-turned-vampire kidnaps his daughter, Lucy, who thinks she's his niece because his brother agreed to raise her when he was taken away. With the help of Priestess and Hicks, Priest defeats Black Hat and rescues Lucy, but that's just the beginning of their problems. Priest discovers the vampire queen is still alive and goes after her, completing ignoring the church's protests once again.

8. Tintin and Snowy (The Adventures of Tintin)

"Snowy, look at this!"

At just the ripe age of seventeen, Tintin has traveled the world and solved some of it's biggest mysteries for his newspaper. The kid even carries a gun around, which does end up coming in handing when he gets wrapped up in solving the mystery of the Unicorn. He's not alone though as most of his discoveries come from the help and guidance of his trusy companion, Snowy. The two end up helping a captain named Haddock in finding his ancestor's last treasure, while also dealing with an enemy that is hellbent on revenge. Still, this adventure is nothing new for Tintin and Snowy and they're able to piece together the remaining pieces of the puzzle and find Sir Francis's lost treasure.

7. Hal Jordan/Green Lantern (Green Lantern)

"Let me go fight for my world and I'll show you that will is stronger than fear."

Hal's a likable guy, despite having a bit of an ego that comes along with it. Yes, he's extremely reckless at times, but he's got that spunk that allows him to think outside of the box, which is another reason why he was chosen to be the next Green Lantern after Abin Sur dies. Throughout the film we keep seeing everyone doubt him because he does have fear in his heart, a lot of it having to due with his father's death, but it's at the end he shows everyone that it's ok to be afraid, it's how you overcome it that matters. With this discovery he's able to defeat Parralax, a task some of the strongest Lanterns died trying to do, and finally earns his spot among the Corps.

6. Raven Darkholme/Mystique (X-Men: First Class)

"Mutant and proud."

It was so interesting to see Mystique in this light. In the previous films we had this hard, deadly assassin that was one of Magneto's biggest threats against the humans and now we got to see how that came to be. Before she was the intimidating mutant we know, Raven was just a scared girl who Charles adopted as a sister and who was ashamed by how she looks. But then she's around other mutants and she slowly starts to accept herself and even comes up with everyone's codenames, but then there's little things that set her back. One, Charles is a bit of a jerk to her and keeps holding her to expectations that I don't think are necessary when he doesn't try to understand what it's like to be in her shoes. Then there's Hank who does know what it's like to have to hide, and who Raven definitely likes, but isn't secure with his own looks and even encourages her to continue to hide who she is. But with all of this, Erik stays as a constant reminder that she is perfect the way she is and that anyone else would be lucky to have her gifts. After that, it's not hard to understand why she chooses him at the end of the movie.

5. Loki (Thor)

"I never wanted the throne, I only ever wanted to be your equal!"

I'm quite familiar with Norse mythology even before I really got into comics so I knew right away that Loki was not this concerned brother he was set out to be at the beginning of the film. It was surprising to find out that not only had he constructed literally everything that happened in order to take the throne for himself (except for Odin going in a coma, that was just luck) but he's also adopted and really belongs to the King of the Frost Giants. He tries to take out Thor and use the Frost Giants to kill his father but when Thor returns he tries to save himself by attempting to destroy the Frost Giant's world as a way to appease his father. Thor stops him, however, and Loki freefalls out of Asgard but somehow manages to take control of a human on Earth just as that human meets with Nick Fury to discuss a very powerful artifact.

4. Thor (Thor)

"For the first time in my life, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do."

The introduction of Thor. We don't see him become the great hero he already is and how he got to control the mighty hammer, but we do see he still has a lot of growing to do before he's fit to rule Asgard. His growth in character comes with the help of some humans on Earth, specifically Jane, who shows him that there are different ways to handle situations instead of brute force. His growth couldn't have come at a better time as he has to face off against his brother, Loki, who practically manipulated everything leading to Thor's banishment. His moment finally comes during his final fight with Loki, when he destroys the bridge that would allow him to see Jane again. He gives her up for the kingdom's safety, truly learning how a king rules with his kingdom's interest at heart. He loses the chances of seeing Jane and also loses his brother, but he's able to reconcile with his father and the support of his friends gives hope that one day, him and Jane will reunite.

3. Charles Xavier/Professor X (X-Men: First Class)

"You're not alone."

Who knew that Porfessor X, the father figure of many future mutant students and X-Men, was such a Casanova when he was younger. I see the appeal, who wouldn't like a guy who knows exactly what to say, in the most charming way possible? Still, despite all the wild nights he has, Charles is quick to get serious when the opportunity comes to meet other mutants like himself. After meeting Erik and the others, Charles tries to bring them in on his vision of peace and working together with the humans. Of course Shaw ends up causing a big flaw in his plan and despite becoming like a brother to Erik, he ends up losing the other to his hatred of humans. He loses more than that when Erik accidentally forces a bullet into his spine, leaving him unable to walk. Understanding their views can never be the same, they separate and Charles opens up his school to all mutants for sanctuary.

2. Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (X-Men: First Class)

"Peace was never an option."

The best origin story of the X-Men, is how their greatest enemy came to be. We watch as Magneto suffers at the hands of Shaw and the Nazis for his powers and then uses said powers to hunt them down one by one. When he fails to kill Shaw, he meets Charles Xavier and the two begin a friendship as they use their two ideologies to meet other mutants like themselves. One thing I liked about Erik is his ability to learn fast. After Emma Frost bests him during their first one, he's quick to understand her threat and quickly handles her during their next confrontation in Russia. When training he allows Charles to open up his mind to advance his skills, and he also opens up Mystique's mind to her appearance. At the last possible second, Erik shuts Charles out when he confronts Shaw, killing him with the same quarter that lead to his mother's death. He needs to work on his accountability a little though, as it was him who deflected the bullet into Charles that handicaps him. Still, it doesn't stop him from starting the Brotherhood and becoming the villain we all know...Magneto.

1. Steve Rogers/Captain America (Captain America: The First Avenger)

"I could do this all day."

Captain America is the ultimate triumphant tale of the underdog. Steve Rogers was a weak tiny man who seemed to have so many illnesses that I thought he belonged in a plastic bubble. But the kid had heart and a true sense of doing the right thing, which is why he was perfect to become Captain America. And while his transformation was a HUGE success, and I'm not just talking about his physical appearance, it took awhile for him to really see some action. Throughout the film we see that even though he's got all of these enhanced abilities, he's still just a kid from Brooklyn. He's still dorky when he's around Peggy, he still mourned heavily after Bucky's death, and he still never backed down from a fight. Despite all the terrible things Red Skull committed, Steve never even batted an eyelash when it came to taking him down, or even sacrificing himself to save millions of lives. He's a true hero for the little guy, wonder how he'll do now that he's woken up more than seventy years into the future.
