My problem with twisted wonderland. (Rant)

As a long time fan of TW (English) I have been struggling to enjoy the game in recent months and I’m not sure it it’s just me or the game itself. I fell in love with this game ever since I first seen or heard about it but that was when it was only in jp and not released in English. I have been playing ever since I’ve heard that they were releasing it to the US and Canada until recent months. There have been many times where I have suddenly stopped playing due to the busy work of school or just straight boredom and the slight repetitiveness the game gives. (Imma explain that deeper in a sec 💀) What I’m trying to say in that TO ME the game has become very boring in the last months due to certain issues that I have with it. (Now im about to explain 💀)

One issue I have with TW is how far back it is from the main game (jp version) think of it as Roblox with different severs (EN sever and JP sever) TW English is ofc a bit behind from the jp version which gets brand new events and stuff like that but ofc I do know the TW jp has been out way longer than the English version did but here’s the thing as a person who be on the internet seeing jp players showing screenshots and videos of the brand new events you kinda have that sad feeling in your chest thinking “why can’t I enjoy that too” ofc you will play that event but you will have to wait almost a year just for it to be your turn to play that same event💀. And once it’s ur turn to play that same event that excitement won’t feel the same bc you’ve seen all of the content on the internet already. And I know it’s not the developers fault for this it’s just if only the English version and JP version was on the same sever than both versions could be play the same events at the same time would be very nice. So English players won’t have to wait for such a long time to play an event that’s been out for almost over a year for.

The pacing between the JP version and English version is kinda insane to me but there’s nothing to do about it. But there has been a slight noticeable change of how TW English has been pushing out there gacha cards example the spell drive club showcase instead of doing each character one at a time they just dumped all of them at the same time which is not a problem ofc even better for people who have been wanting to get the cards but it’s just crazy how they starting to notice how far back the two versions of the same game is between each other so there trying to push out as much content as possible to catch up on the up to date version which is the JP version. It’s nice that they’re doing that but also sad at the same time.

Another thing I noticed from them is the 3.5 anniversary 💀 which is insane and funny asf at the same time 😭 like is this normal?!! I wasn’t playing the game when that showed up but I noticed it bc I follow their instagram. It just shows that they’re rushing to reach to the jp version for en and it’s just a bit sad to see fr. Rn hopefully I can try to get back into TW and enjoy the game like how I used to when it first came out in English at first when I thought about this I felt like am I the problem overthinking about this but I’m not sure if u have any opinions let me know 🤔

So I finally came back to playing twst after ghosting it for a couple of months now and finally got caught up in the story. It was a semi-emotional roller coaster I especially hate to the tile thing in chapter 7😭 it was always heartbreaking and frustrating seeing my cards die from health but, finally after all of that it was nice coming back into playing the game again…!! :3
