Coming home
This is my final shoot, as it was self titled I chose to look at taking images of a chair but in an abstract way that compares the hard cooper metal to the surrounding tranquil landscape. @esherphotography
What is it? For this weeks shoot titled what is it I chose to take up close photos of objects on the beach. As I wanted to present the day out in a more abstract way @esherphotography
The world is most beautiful at 4 AM because people are asleep and nature is wide awake.

Morning light, taken in Milford- England on our first morning at the beach
4 angles one subject. I stood in a forest on a dog walk and took a picture from each direction to show how landscape can change easily.
In my opinion the small and inquire business are responsible for the atmosphere of an area. For example Teddington high street- where these images were taken @esherphotography
M favourite part of my time in Italy was rock climbing in Ragoli. @esherphotography
Looking up looking down, taken in Italy on the night of the summer festival at one of the castles at lake Garda @esherphotography
Frame your subject taken in Berlin @esherphotography
For self portrait I decided to photography the unnatural things that define. Either the ought the way I have modified my body or how i choose to adorn it. While I have a few other piercings I chose to focus on my bar as it Was my first major self funded piercing. The jewellery on the other hand represents to me very different things. For example the necklace was given to me many years ago from my best friend and I've never taken it off. @esherphotography
This is Fraser he is around 1 year old, rescued Lurcher (greyhound cross) from dogs trust. We have had him near 2 months and he is the most loving and protective dog I’ve ever met, he shows that dogs can be so forgiving.

WEEK 2 - DYNAMIC B&W (MY SHOOT)
Who was the influence for your shoot? A photographer named Dan Hachmann was my inspiration for this shoot, I was particularly inspired by way he incorporated lines, patterns and the illusion of geometry into his photos
How have you replicated this? I experimented with the way he shot his photos; e.g. made sure everything was symmetrical or I experimented with different setting e.g. shutter speed in railway track photos.
What technical skills have you employed in your shoot? I shot completely in the ‘monochrome’ picture style and then experimented with other exposure settings (with natural lighting) to make sure that I got the shot there and then. I used a small aperture ranging from f/1.4 - f/1.8 (35mm & 50mm) which helped to white out the background in some cases.
What technical aspect of the shoot are you most pleased with? I really like the tonal range of this shoot and how there can still be so much formality and complexity within the monochrome colour range. I’m also pleased with the way I represented geometry, lines and patterns within my shoot in different ways.
How has the manipulation enhanced your original image? On the last picture, I mirrored it on Photoshop to make it a bit more dynamic. By doing this I also further replicated Geometry, patterns and lines.
Overall how successful was the shoot? Why? It was pretty successful as with this shoot It didn’t feel as if I was too closely copying the artist like I felt with the last shoot and therefore more of my style 'shone through’.

He has interpreted the artist well in a unique way that gives it a twist. He doesn't focus so much on the strong upward angle but just capturing architecturally unique buildings. His artists study shows he has thought throughly about what he will shoot with clear analyses and understanding of the images. As such he has been able to make these images his own and avoid copying grab artists study to closely, in his analysis he has mentioned how he was able to bring how own ideas to the shoot and I think that is very true. The straight lines and gird patients etc help make what could be a very simple picture and make it look incredibly interesting and eye catching- certainly portraying the idea of dynamic black white.
