Exchange year memory that is very dear to me!

It was nice to see others taking it easy on Saturday too. Generally I found British students more chill than us Finns, haha. I miss my exchange year more and more for so many reasons. I hope I get another chance to live abroad at some point!

Just finished my zine “Squirrel’s Door Stories” that I made for the upcoming Zine Fest, September 1st- 2nd, 2018 which is part of Helsinki Comics festival.

This is my first printed comic that is in full color so I’m quite excited. I hope after graduation I will be able to work on longer comics again.

I’m having my BA thesis presentation in the thesis seminar tomorrow and I’m SO tempted to put this as the cover image for my powerpoint presentation! I analyzed animation frames and visual narration from Ducktales 2017 intro and Wander over Yonder and from some other series as well for my thesis. One of the best sides of being an animation student: you are having fun when you write your thesis!
