Posting things online is still new to me and I get nervous to share things. But @mlleforest ‘s post about her amazing news gave me the courage to share mine.
So this post is to say that a few months ago, I got the news that I got into the 2D animation program I first wanted!😊🥳🎉
I will most probably be using my listener OCs in practice animations for school works and post them here. I would also love to include the main cast, but I will have to ask Obi first to see if it’s okay.
However my nervousness tells me it will have to wait another day😅
Anyway, I wish you all a good day/afternoon/night!!
Oh, hey, i just noticed i think i never posted here my video on my animation references? though i've made this before i watched jiří trnka's the hand, which not only is a tragedy because that film inspired my short film sooo much it deserves to be here, but also because considering my college thesis is about usamerican, japanese, brazilian and czech animation, it feels crazy that i put in at least one of each country here but i didn't put czech animation?? i also wish i had put in more brazilian animations, especially Rodrigo goulão's playground and marcos magalhães' animando...but it happens. i still love love love this video and i feel like it heavily represents the movements, visual styles and use of animation that inspire my animations in the work, and i hope they inspire anyone else!(if not the ones here, than hopefully the ones in the links)
one of these days i should write on why they inspire me, what do i see on them that i find so important. because if it were just animations i'd like, i'd have thrown a lot of other things, but i picked only the ones that i truly continuously research and come back to to observe and take notes from.
Storyboard analysis assignment!
We had to take a scene and reverse engineer its storyboards. It was super fun but I realized too late that I didd NOT have to go all out on such an action packed scene…
It was fun nevertheless. Original scene is from LMK s02e07: Shadow Play!
You hate the rain?
A little animation of betty and simon! Share love!
