Enamorarse es cómo entregarle a alguien tu corazón en una bandeja de plata. Te sostienen en la palma de su mano. Por eso es que sientes que flotas cuando les ves. Sin embargo, cuando cierran su mano y te apachurran demasiado fuerte, te reduces a nada más que polvo.

Ella se ve como una reina; o más bien, ella es la reina. Luce majestuosa con su cabello peinado en una hermosa trenza. Ella lleva puesto un vestido. Es corto, sin una forma particular y es de colores sin voz, pero cuando ella lo lleva puesto parece de la más alta costura. Como todas las reinas, ella también tiene un cetro. Es bastante más alto que ella, metálico y se siente frío al hacer contacto con sus manos. Y aunque más que llevar el cetro consigo lo arrastra, logra mantener ese porte y la fuerza que tiene en su pose. Su régimen, vive en silencio, su palacio le hace de carcel y en su vientre están grabadas las ataduras a su reino.

She looks like a queen; or more accurately, she is the queen. She looks majestic with her hair done in a beautiful braid. She wears a dress. It is short, with no particular shape and the colors have no voice, but when she wears it, the dress becomes of highest couture. As every other queen, she has a scepter. It is much taller than she is, metallic and cold to the contact of her hands. And although she drags it more than she carries it, she manages to keep her bearing and the strength of her pose. Her regime, lives in silence, her palace is her prison and in her womb are engraved the bounds to her realm.

Una pequeña reflexión que pude crear con lo me ha enseñado la vida:

Sabes que lo que sientes es amor porque al estar a su lado, te sientes más viv@ de lo que jamás te has sentido y, en caso de que tú realidad sea gris y deprimente, te llevan de vuelta a la gama de colores. Sabes que estas enamorad@ cuando al mirarle a los ojos, el mundo se funde en los más brillantes colores, y jurás que te aferrarás a ese momento para siempre. Y al hallarse a distancia, anhelas su alma. Miras al cielo estrellado, al colorido atardecer o al bosque desde lo alto de una montaña y deseas desde lo más profundo de tu ser que estuviesen junto a ti.

A small reflexion that I created with some of the things that life has taught me:

You know you are feeling love because when you are by their side, you feel more alive than ever, and in case that your reality is grey and grim, they bring you back into life’s color palette. You know you’re enamoured when you look into their eyes and your surroundings melt into the most vibrant colors and you swear to yourself that you’ll hold on to that moment forever. And when being apart, you crave their soul. When looking to the starry sky, the colorful sunset or the forest from the heights of a mountain you will wish from the deepest part of you that they were right besides you.
