Just gonna throw this out there, but it’s interesting how different media feels with a female author, female production company, female director and female screenwriter.

Exactly. It’s about a moment of genuine and natural intimacy. Even Matthew’s body is displayed as a plot point, rather than pure titillation. And they let him have body insecurities and sexual shyness.

And is not only in the sex scene. You made me understand why I love the scene with Hamish in this episode so much. It allows us to see Matthew being open and vulnerable and Hamish being supportive in a organic, natural way
