Any Hakari x Kashimo headcanons in a scenario where both lived together post canon?

I have been off tumblr for so long I lowkey don’t even remember writing that I love this ship 😭😭. I do love the ship so much but lowkey haven’t thought about it in a while beyond canon just because they are so few fandom stuff about it.

I haven’t put much thought into this if this ship honestly but if I had to say

- I think Kashmiri follows Hakari around everywhere genuinely like a little shadow and they’ve become so good and reading each other and Hakari knowing when Kashimo wants something explained to other people it just looks like Hakatri completely interrupted the conversation to explain some detail about modern life to a completely disinterested Kashimo

- Kashimo demand ms everything never asks. Hakari nags at him for it but he thinks it’s cute.

- Hakari actually has more old man tendencies than Kashimo talking about the way things “used to be” and “these darn kids these days” when talking about his gambling ring solely because he has been hanging around middle aged men due to said gambling ring

- less a ship one but Hakari takes on reaching Yuji Nobara and Megumi mostly because he’s being forced too because they are laughably understaffed with most of their teachers dead retired or grievously injured. Kashimo also follows him around for these lessons just to criticize and heckle and steak kills from teenagers. Yuji is enamored with this set up, Nobara tries to exploit it for personal petty gain and Megumi would have rather stayed dead than be here right now.

- their vibe when people see them together is definitely “ I don’t know if they are dating but they are definitely fucking”

- Kirara runs a ship account for them and refers to Kashimo as their shared boyfriend to Hakari’s indifference and Kashimo’s absolute fury

- Hakari tries to get Kashimo involved in the gambling ring but he has the patience of a chihuahua and can’t be trusted to do scripted fights or manage any kind of planning whatsoever. So his time there is mostly spent I. The watch box like an unruly kid in their parents office while they try to work

- Kashimo very much baked it into his deal that they have to spare often and Hakari has to use his CT atleast once

- Kashimo becomes essentially a pachinko gambling addict in an attempt to figure out how to beat Hakari’s domain expansion. Hakari thinks this is adorable and bought in his own pachinko machine so he can watch him lose in real time😂

I hope you like these I came up with them right on the spot and it’s like 5 am context just incase any of these don’t make sense.

I don't know how many targets Yor gets in a week and IDK when the target in chapter 64/episode 43 was. Maybe right after work? But what I do hope she will try to make it to Henry Henderson's farewell party. These teachers will have a backup plan but there is always likely a mistake put on the flyers to know they were doctored.

its so good to see someone else who also thinks that jason shouldn't call bruce dad. it's so easily accepted in the wider fandom that jason would be the only or the first batkids to call bruce dad and i get why but it just doesn't sit right with me (i think none of them would call bruce dad, and damian is the only one to directly address him as "father", the others get roundabout ways like "he raised me" "like a father" "father figure" etc). jason's parents influence in his life is so easily brushed aside compared to the others. and jason was like 12-13 when he met bruce, i honestly can't imagine a 13 year old immediately getting over the barrier to calling bruce dad. and jason cared so much about willis too no matter what you think he was like. he was strangling his killer and so upset with bruce for hiding it too. jason finding out that bruce hid willis death from jason kind of cemented in my view that jason wouldn't call him dad. i know people do it for the angst which hits more if jason called bruce dad easily but like, it just doesn't sit right with jason's personality and life till then. he was so used to being independent even at 12-13. he was surviving on his own, didn't trust adults, avoided social services. he wouldn't just immediately be like "ok you're dad now" and that's not a bad thing. he had almost no reasons to immediately trust batman or bruce and overtime bruce just proved to him that he couldn't trust him, which is why jason ran away to find his birth mom. bruce def filled a parental role in his life and jason would know it and care a lot about it but straight up labelling it with "dad" just doesn't work for jason's character im my view. i know he called him dad in pre-crisis and and nocturna mom just a bit after joe and trina but pre-crisis felt a bit rushed with that too in a way that can't just be explained through desperation. it felt like they just wanted to get the ward headache over with this time and skipped over jason's interiority just to rush him into calling bruce dad. and post crisis bruce just kind of sucked as a guardian to jason ngl. i'm really not getting where people think bruce was such a good father to jason in post-crisis.

I think maybe there’s an argument that Jaybin might have eventually seen him that way and called him dad if they didn’t fall out the way they did and he lived longer or if Bruce was better at raising teenagers. I think Jaybin saw Bruce as a father figure more do that Dick ever did. (Dick and Bruce have a very complex relationship spanning multiple titles) but In the Jaybin comics the early ones especially it was very clear the relationship being shown was father and son. And I don’t necessarily think that Jason would or should have to abandon his life before Bruce or his dad to take on a new one in Bruce. I’ve very much a relationships can be complex people can have multiple parental figures.

More just the way that it’s been done. The demonizing of Willis so completely to make a dad sized room in his life And that Bruce can fill. And I think that why Willis is the one that gets the butt of it. Catherine isn’t competition Mom isn’t a role Bruce is supposed to fill so she can be his sweet loving mom with no problem.

Honestly to me I don’t see anyway current red hood Jason is calling Bruce dad their grievances are too irreconcilable Jason feels himself abandoned and easily replaceable. He’s a soldier not a son. Their relationship is to far gone where even if they found reconciliation I don’t think Jason could ever bring himself to call him dad that would be letting him in to close. He’d honestly probably only say it to throw it in Bruce’s face petty king that he is.

Also there’s a prevalent little quirk where it’s almost like the relationship can’t be truly parental and meaningful unless it’s building to being called Dad or acknowledged out right as their father not just father figure or adult who ment a lot to me. It’s in a lot of other fandoms too. The condescending of any older/younger dynamic into a strictly parental one

Why are you and everyone else in the art and animation community more upset and concerned about live-action remakes of animated movies being made than ACTUAL real world issues, like Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine and Project 2025 being enacted in the United States?

I’m sorry I didn’t know people couldn’t contain multitudes? I am a complex human being who can hold many different issues at varying levels of importance just because I’m talking about one does not infact correlate to me not caring about the other?

It’s absolutely so hilariously unfair that Bruce got to live his early 20 barely live, die hard ,mission now crash out, friendless years completely in private meanwhile Jason is experiencing his live and in person with the entire superhero community watching and thinking he’s a loser 😭.

Something that I feel multiple different volatile ways about is that Bruce obviously saw little 7 year old Dick Grayson standing there staring at the broken bodies of his dead parents with his black hair and blue eyes filled with a deep aching will never go away grief and an even deeper righteous fury and saw himself.

And then that boy grows up and they do really talk anymore they’re on the worst of terms but then here’s this boy stealing his tires and swing a tire iron at him. Small for his age, black hair, blue eyes and all that righteous fury and all that aching grief. There he is 12 year old Jason Todd mad at the world in all its unfairness, an anger Bruce can understand. But when he looks at him he doesn’t see 8 year old Bruce Wayne forever stuck in that alleyway. All he can see is his kid all he can see is Dick Grayson.

And then the kid dies and then all he can see in every other child he meets is that they might die too.

Don’t get me wrong he sees Dick in all of them too, he’ll Dick is directly the reason he gave some of them a chance in the first place. But he also sees Jason in their big bright eyes and their excitement to be a part of something good. Of something magical. And that terrifies him.

So he has to punish and teach all the little bits of Jason out of them. To Bruce that’s the only way to keep them alive

I do love the way Toji, a man who’s been dead since the beginning, haunts the narrative.

Like he was a man doing his best to survive in a world that didn’t want him, everything he touched turned to poison. He had ruthlessness down to an art form, everyone’s life is worse off for having known him.

He is the holy grail, he haunts every single person he has ever met, he’s the reason for all of this, this has nothing to do with him. he will come back again and again and again the narrative isn’t through with him yet.

If not just for the lyrics then because Jason Todd is still 15 and pop grunge at heart.

I will always 100% believe that Jason wouldn’t have died if he felt like he had even 1 other person that he could trust to actually listen to him.

Coming back to tumble briefly to say, because it’s been plaguing me, The thing that really get me about Bruce and his moral code is not the fact he is so staunchly against killing or that even he saves bad guys like the joker or stops people from killing in his presence those are all fine he is well within his rights to do those things. but god he’s so goddam evangelical about the whole thing.

It’s not enough for you to just respect his rules you have to believe and you have to believe with your being. It’s not just enough that you don’t kill you have to feel bad if literally anybody dies in your presence you have to carry that guilt no matter how terrible the person was how much evil they’d done. It’s the whole basis for the fight he had Jason had over Felipe it didn’t matter whether Bruce believed Jason pushed or didn’t push him Jason’s biggest crime that day was that he didn’t particularly care that Felipe died, he wasn’t torn up about a soul being lost and Bruce couldn’t fathom it couldn’t fathom why his 15 year old didn’t seem to care that a rapist who got of completely unpunished by Justice fell to his death.

That has always been Jason’s biggest crime in the eyes of Bruce. Not that he kills people but that he doesn’t feel particularly torn up that they are dead. And given the type of people Jason wants to kill why should he?

Bruce has saved the Joker from dying (both in the literal stop someon from killing him and bringing him back from the brink of death sense) more than probably any villain ever probably. He has actively put people in harm trying to save the Joker. Yet if I said Bruce was letting the Joker get away with his villainy, we would have a problem. And yet......
