I'm working part time and looking for a full time job. Even with my husband's full time income, we're living with less than $100 in our bank account at any given time. Thankfully we can pay rent and buy food for ourselves, but that leaves many of our other bills and credit cards being deferred until we have enough extra cash. And then last night, our cat had an emergency vet visit that cost us an unplanned $800.
