Eight years of kadoodles, even from before I was Kadael. I took another look at this and wanted to try doing one of my own, so I did. I tried to grab complete pieces rather than WIPs, but for some years (like 2013--those are apparently the only three art things in all my folders from that year) this wasn’t possible. I also unfortunately(?) don’t have any of my really old pictures from before 2009, so I can’t show off how 12 year-old Kads thought the grass brush in Photoshop Elements was the BEST TOOL EVAR.
I basically couldn’t make art without cringing until late 2014, which was the year I started drawing a fuckton. Even now, I look at things I’ve done this year before my latest piece and my immediate reaction is “OH GOD I HATE IT.” I’m sure that eventually, I’ll look at the Shaden picture and shake my head at pastKads for painting it.
Still, I think it’s fair to say that I’ve come a pretty long way from 2009. I draw more elves now, for one thing. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
