Sometimes people ask, ‘how do I get more scene friends?’ Go to a brokencyde show its scenechella in there. Ive seen them twice now and ive left with 10 new mutuals each time. The fashion really ends up being top notch, you can tell a lot of the people there have genuine interest in 2000s trends and music. All around, its a great experience. Even without all of the original members, the shows are still killer. se7en who no longer performs with them, is really influential to my style. I am always a little sad he isn’t in the band, but Phat J and Mikl Shea pick up the slack pretty effortlessly. Its such a party, see them if you get the chance.

Side note, mexico is so beautiful! I took Spanish class really seriously up until my sophomore year of highschool, I tried my best to speak to people with what I could remember. Even though it was half broken, Everyone was so nice to me about it haha. The photographer at our hotel said I reminded him of paramore and my chem, mexico still has a really active fan base for those two. I was out at a bar when mexico beat korea in the world cup, that was so much fun. Everytime I travel I am reminded that America fucking sucks. Mexico was great.
