Welcome Home

Kaiden entered the house he had been away from for so long and put his bag down. Cyr taking his bag and patting his back he heard his cousin say 'welcome home' but didn't acknowledge the others words as he went into the living room. His step mother had put him through therapy and his therapist had put him in a home for the mentally ill. It didn't matter how much Kaiden fought to tell them he wasn't crazy he had been put on medication and driven to think maybe he was just seeing things. Making things up to calm himself down after the years of abuse he had gone through. Shaking his head he laid down on the couch feeling his cousins and step mothers presence in the door way of the room. "The doctor said to give him a few days to adjust to the home environment..." She muttered as if he wasn't in the room. He didn't hear Cyr respond but assumed he merely nodded in response.
