One of the most life-changing things I ever learned came from Mythbusters, where they tested and proved (with cognitive testing puzzles and reaction time tests) that lying down and resting with the intention to sleep STILL provided significant mental benefits over just staying awake, even if a person couldn’t fall asleep in the amount of time they had. 

It helps me to actually sleep to know that just lying down with my eyes closed is still doing me some good, and helps me to not freak out/beat myself up when I stay up later than intended. Any amount of rest is better than no rest!

So if you didn’t know that…now you do

I love how this scene implies that zoro is a self diagnosed luffy enabler. like zoro COULD have gone with him but he specifically chose to stay behind. he took himself out of the equation completely and sent nami n sanji in his place. babygirl knows his strengths and his weaknesses i'll give him that

Been thinking about in a relationship with Acesan lately. Acesan polycule with either modern au or just plain ol' piracy life.

How every morning would be like: Waking up with fluffy black hair shoved to your face as Ace just buries himself into your chest, then realizing your blonde lover missing from your side. You slip out of bed, careful to not wake up Ace (but even then, Ace has always been a heavy sleeper) and head towards the kitchen where you assume and will find Sanji.

Standing over the stove, Sanji hummed a simple tune that may or may not be familiar as you go up to him and hug him from behind, your hands slipping into his button up shirt and feeling the warmth of his stomach. Murmuring into his neck and imagining his flushed red face, his hum stopped abruptly.

"Finally decided to wake up?" Sanji cooly asked, chuckling off his own flustered face and further leaned to your touch. His breath hitched slightly when you shift your fingers on his bare skin.

You nodded, rubbing cheek on the crook of his neck. He laughed, pulling your hand away from his stomach and pecked a kiss on your forehead before you can even get the chance to whine.

"Go wake up sleepyhead in the bedroom. I'm nearly done with breakfast." Sanji instructed and he watched you slip away from his arms, towards your beloved. 'Our beloved.' Sanji thought with a silly smile.

You, shaking Ace awake with your current strength, still unable to shake the numbness in your arms. So you resigned to just watching at his face, brushing strands that would fall on his face away and chuckling whenever he stirs around at your touch. It took a couple minutes for him to consider opening his eyes. He did not regret opening them.

"Mornin'." Ace greeted, his voice deeper than usual.

"Good morning to you too." You kissed him, purposely missing his lips as he grunted in response. "Sanji cooked breakfast, c'mon."

The three of you gathered in the kitchen which happens to be the dining room as well, sitting at the table and just enjoying the peaceful morning silence before Ace inevitably regains his energy and the room now buzzing with life.

Been thinking how it be like every night, cuddling for warmth against the cold somehow seeping into your room. Arms and legs tangled, bodies pushed and brushing up against each other. How everynight it must feel so full, so completed, so... perfect with how Sanji big spoons you from behind, Ace using you and the blonde as a pillow to hook his leg on, hands slipping into shirts and letting the warmth ebb and flow from the fingertips to the chest.

How it would be like to kiss them on the lips, tongue meeting tongue. Even if it burns you, even if it meant kissing the lips belongs to someone with a cigarette between teeth, kissing them is and always will be a delight to you.

Ace's hands finding themself on your hips and gripping them so tightly like you's slip away, his tongue heating up the inside of your mouth as you feel the pad of his fingers make a dent of warmth into your flesh. Sanji's cupping your face so gently as if you'd break any moment, any second, as he kissed you like you're life itself and the smell of smoke invading your lungs and tastebuds has never felt so good and awful at the same time.

Everytime you come out with the two of them, it's obvious that you three are together. With how Sanji looked at you and Ace like you're the most beautiful people in the world as he served you your drinks; how Ace flexes his devil fruit and muscles in front of you and the cook, awaiting your praises and kisses behind closed doors; how you run your fingers through their hairs, sneaking in pecks on the cheek when you thought no one was looking.

Thinking how it must feel good to be with the two of them, the love that burns away all of your problems and snuffs out your worries like it's nothing but a cigarette.

Even when the three of you fall apart, the memories of countless days and nights of loving, tasting and touching hang heavy in the air like smoke you can't ever fan out.

Hello friends who nest!

(nuts for my crow brain, sweet things for the omega cravings, and sometimes some other stuff personally)

I also like to kidnap my partner in it, but that's not always possible 🥺😞 Please feel free to add on with your nesting essentials! ☕️
