something to remember is that the people running ISFF sockpuppet accounts are living sad, unfulfilled lives.

that's why they're working around the clock to flood her tag with rape fantasies disguised as faux positivity. they have no friends offline they can hang out with & no friends online who can witness their obsessive behavior and tell them, gently, that they need to disengage.

for all they claim to care about their sisters, all they REALLY care about is clinging to whatever pathetic scraps of control they can wrest from women who are younger and less experienced than they are.

that's what this entire "movement" is about: a group of adult women who are so desperate to feel relevant and powerful that they've tethered their sense of self-worth to a collective rape fantasy. and all while masquerading as activists!

i think this is the last thing i'll say on the subject. what i've posted so far more or less sums up my feelings on the matter, and my posts will remain in this tag as a reminder of what ISFF supported.

i have family, friends, and coworkers who deserve my attention far more than this motley collection of groomers.

to the folks who have been fighting against ISFF (especially the trans women): i respect the hell out of you, and i encourage you to take a break if you need it. the evidence will remain under this tag for the rest of her life, and there are hundreds of people who will remember what she did. take comfort in that.

all of these sockpuppet accounts in the ISFF tag acting like they're spreading a message of love and transfem empowerment, meanwhile half of their posts say shit like "i think we should lock women in basements and forcibly inject them with hormones until they realize that they're women. this is OK because it's for their own good. yay 💖"

like, first and foremost: pedophiles are a danger to children and they need to either seek help or be forcibly prevented from interacting with children. if you disagree, you are in favor of creating an unsafe environment for trans girls and other children.

second: even if you're just joking, even if it's just a "harmless" fetish... why the fuck are you so obsessed with depriving women of their ability to consent? why can't your message to trans women be "it's okay to be a girl, i will always be here to talk if you need to talk"? why do you have to be so fucking WEIRD about it?

given the fact that most of these accounts were posting every 5 minutes yesterday, i can only assume that i'm dealing with a small but mighty group of unemployed women whose time would be better spent browsing indeed.

When it comes to glimpses of a better world, I remember encountering some woman's anecdote about how she's muslim, and being free to wear pretty much whatever she wants at her job, she wears a veil that covers her face while at work, but not in her free time. "pedophile" is a word that has more than one meaning. people use the word "pedophile" colloquially to describe offenders and non-offenders alike. there is no "correct" definition of pedophilia because it is a word that has multiple similar, but discrete meanings.

the distinction between "pedophile" and "person with pedophilic disorder" is not a useful one, because it relies on the assumption that pedophilia (and paraphilia more broadly) is a coherent medical diagnosis that exists independent of its sociocultural context, which is vapid. sexual desire is a product of your upbringing, environment, and lifestyle choices; it is not a biological fact.

pedophiles are adults, and all adults have power over children. furthermore, pedophiles have an incentive to abuse their power that other adults do not have. pedophilia is not the sole incentive for child sexual abuse, but it is frankly asinine to pretend that it isn't an incentive for abuse at all.

there is no such thing as a thought crime because there is no such thing as mind-reading. once you post it to your blog, especially if your blog is visible to children, you have officially turned your thought into an action that can cause material harm.

there are different levels of harm, certainly, and each level requires a different response. i don't think ISFF deserves to be killed or thrown in jail for the crime of being an idiot. but when you attempt to create a culture where people can proudly identify as pedophiles in full view of children, you deserve all the criticism you get.

a lot of ISFF's defenders have flattened this argument to "TMEs harassing a trans woman for having a bad opinion" or, alternatively, "TMEs harassing a trans woman for saying that people struggling with unwanted sexual urges deserve compassion." neither estimation is accurate.

a "bad opinion" would be someone arguing that littering is okay. i strongly disagree, but the stakes are extremely low, so the most i would do is write a pithy response and then move on.

trying to create a community where pedophiles are encouraged to openly and proudly identify as such, especially when the community includes trans girls (who are more likely than any other children to seek out relationships online!) is not a "bad opinion." it's an action that can cause material harm.

some folks on here have taken what i call the Charlie Kirk Approach by responding to any and all criticism with "i guess people aren't allowed to have OPINIONS anymore 🙄" as though all opinions exist in a vacuum. it is, frankly, some libertarian bullshit.

if ISFF could just write one single post saying "I think pedophiles deserve compassion IF THEY ACTIVELY SEEK HELP AND DISTANCE THEMSELVES FROM MINORS" then I would be more than happy to forgive and forget. but she keeps doubling down, and so people like me feel compelled to continue posting about her in order to mitigate some of the damage she's causing.

if i'm given a choice between defending an adult trans woman with an established support network OR protecting young trans girls who might fall victim to the predators who feed off of this bullshit, i'm going to pick the latter every single time. sorry if that makes me a transmisogynist or whatever.
