What a relief.. The female didn’t seem to catch his moment of disappointment— not that it would matter now though, it was gone anyways. Blue orbs kept their eyes steady on her, ensuring the fact that he was paying attention to what Kairi was saying. “Training?” Ace blurted out. “T-training for what, though?” A hand lifted to his temple. “Are you in some sort of danger?” he asked, trying to recall if they ever talked about anything that serious before. The student was far too wrapped up in his thoughts to answer her question of what he’s been up to. “Keyblade..?” Hiding his sudden anxiety proved to be difficult.
"Oh! I guess I never told you.. " Feeling a small pang right in the middle of her chest, Kairi's expression faltered for only a moment before another smile formed on her lips. "I've been training to learn how to fight with my friends," she explained with a nod. "Unfortunately there's some bad people around that have been making things hard.. But we've got it under control." Giving another firm nod, she clasped her hands behind her back, satisfied with her answer. If she were to go into detail about everything, it might have taken the whole entire night and day-- And she wanted to know about Ace.
"I can tell you more about it some other time, maybe! How have you been? Is everything alright?" her indigo eyes locked with his blue ones, a concerned look forming on her features.
