Hi there! I've been on tumblr for a while but never made a dedicated sideblog for it, but i decided that i wanted to get serious about writing/querying, so i figured i may as well make a tumblr for my writing! (Tumblr will always be my beloved webbed site.)

Without further ado, I'm Kailey (she/her), a twenty-something writer who likes cats too much for my own good, and I also like to draw, too. 💜

I miss when I was ten years old and the world seemed so impossibly huge and full of bright eyed wonder. I miss dreaming of what I was going to be when I grew up. I miss my mom making me peanut butter sandwiches for lunch. I miss swimming in the pool for hours and hours until my fingers turned into prunes. I miss when the air was sweet and not chalky. And I miss when my head wasn't full of self doubt.

It's my job as an author to not have to hold your hand when you read my work. My writing should be able to stand on its own and the reader should be able to pick up what my text is trying to convey, without me, the author, tapping your shoulder every ten seconds.

That's my goal, anyway.

I wanted to try out making a zine everyday this month, but that may be a bit much for me, so I'll be happy with 1 zine a week! Also while making this one I forgot how much I love making little zines! 🫶🥰
