I’m back! With a confession and new content… kinda
Hi everyone!
So, I recently I’ve been thinking about what I want to do with my writing career and also about my mental health, so let’s start with my mental state.
I got diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder in January. Ngl, I was scared to type that. This diagnosis was really scary and freaked me out in more ways than I thought it would. Even though I’ve got quiet BPD (essentially, my symptoms are internalised rather than externalised), I felt like my writing quality was suffering because I had to look back on my life through this lens and realise that everything bad I’ve done were symptoms of my undiagnosed disorder.
The thing about this is, I’d never thought I’d really have it. I went to the psychiatrist and told him that I thought at the minimum, I’d have GAD and depression, and BPD at my worst. But, yeah, I got the diagnosis anyway lmao.
And I think that’s what freaked me out about it the most – I thought it wasn’t a possibility and couldn’t be true. I know BPD is a scary disorder, for everyone including the person with the disorder (for those who don’t know what I’m talking about, I highly recommend you look at r/bpdlovedones on reddit – it’s not a place for those with BPD but you’ll see why people are terrified of it). Which is why, I thought I’d write a blog about it. I genuinely didn’t think I would have it, and I think that’s a problem. So, I’d like to work on de-stigmatising BPD.
Maybe if someone reads my blog, and recognises their symptoms in me, then they can go and get the help they need. And over time, maybe even people without BPD will be less afraid of the disorder.
Now, I’m not expecting my audience to stay only for that but I felt like I needed to tell you this before I got onto the actual part about my writing: My personal life and writing life are heavily intertwined. So it would be difficult to write a blog about my life with BPD and not talk about my writing because it’s so close to me, which is why I wanted to combine the two.
So, since I’ll be going into detail about my future work, I’m going to be providing updates on my Patreon. I’ll do a less detailed version for my tumblr and my free Patreon members, but paying patrons will get the full in depth update.
Which leads me to what the writing will be about: Though I’ve learned a lot about writing and romance from writing x reader content, I feel like I need to move on from that now. This doesn’t mean I’ll be abandoning the genre entirely, because I might get an idea or two every couple of months, but I want to move onto writing my own fully formed stories.
I still want to write romance, there’s no changing my mind about that. However, I think I’d like to start writing serials with characters and in depth plots with little bits and pieces of information that lore seekers will gobble up like it’s the last meal they will ever eat (can you tell I grew up in the FNAF fandom XD) with a touch of darkness. Think Game of Thrones meets romance; but don’t worry, there won’t be anything too upsetting such as SA. Mostly just graphic violence like is in the first chapter of my first book, The Orc’s Obsession.
So, that’s kind of all I wanted to say hehe. Sorry for the long post, I’ve rewritten this post a few times and I think this is the best one lol.
I hope you’ll enjoy my future stories and stick around to read more about me getting better from BPD :)

I don't quite know why, my typing has been all over the place recently. I'm getting enough sleep and eating well, but my fingers seem to have a mind of their own.
I even struggled writing this post complaining about it ;-;
Perhaps its the heat wave we recently had
Was listening to SKZ and my mind went 'Orc kpop band' and now the idea of these beefy Orcs dancing to Going Dumb makes me giggle.
OR, Sirens who somehow get onto land and become kpop stars - I had this idea for a horror story I was writing a few years back, but couldn't figure out how to include it in the story :( Maybe that's a story for my monster lovers?

You know what? Forget the discourse. This is no longer my hill to die on.
You wanna ship canonically aspec characters because “aro/ace people can still date/have sex”? Okay, then. LET’S DO IT. I wanna see an aromantic character with an alloromantic love interest. I wanna see that confession of undying love and the moment when the aro character says they will never feel the same way—not romantically.
I wanna see the asexual character with their allosexual partner. I wanna see that moment when the ace characters tries sex with their partner for the first time because they want to make them happy only to realize that they are 100% sex repulsed.
I wanna see the two demiromantics who don’t even know if what they feel is romantic attraction, but they adore each other and just want to make healthy snacks together and destroy each other at Mario Kart.
I wanna see the two aces who love sensual affection and are figuring out what they define as sexual or not.
I wanna see the romance + sex neutral aroace who happily and consensually does whatever makes their partner happy…but their partner still struggles with feeling undesired.
Oh, babe. You thought shipping an aspec character would be just like shipping an allo character?
5 Tiny Writing Tips That Aren’t Talked About Enough (but work for me)
These are some lowkey underrated tips I’ve seen floating around writing communities — the kind that don’t get flashy attention but seriously changed how I write.
1. Put “he/she/they” at the start of the sentence less often.
Try switching up your sentence rhythm. Instead of
“She walked to the window,”
try
“The window creaked open under her touch.”
Keeps it fresh and stops the paragraph from sounding like a checklist.
2. Don’t describe everything — describe what matters.
Instead of listing every detail in a room, pick 2–3 objects that say something.
“A half-drunk mug of tea and a knife on the table”
sets a way stronger tone than
“There was a wooden table, two chairs, and a shelf.”
3. Use beats instead of dialogue tags sometimes.
Instead of:
"I'm fine," she said.
Try:
"I'm fine." She wiped her hands on her skirt.
It helps shows emotion, and movement.
4. Write your first draft like no one will ever read it.
No pressure. No perfection. Just vibes. The point of draft one is to exist. Let it be messy and weird — future you will thank you for at least something to edit.
5. When stuck, ask: “What’s the most fun thing that could happen next?”
Not logical. Not realistic. FUN. It doesn’t have to stay — but chasing excitement can blast through writer’s block and give you ideas you actually want to write.
What’s a tip that unexpectedly helped with your writing? Let me know!! 🍒
Thinking I might turn this blog into a personal/life update blog - I don't really use it for monster romance anymore so it might just be fun to reblog more personal stuff

Monster author tag
I was tagged by @regency-monster-love—thank you! The idea is to promote other monster authors and ourselves!
Link 10 of your stories and explain why you choose those particular ones.
Picking ten of my favourites isn't an easy task. I love all my stories... but I guess even parents have their favourite kids huh? Anyway, here are my favourites that I've written (in no particular order.)
Orc Reacts to you bringing back a baby - I really like this one. For a while, all I could think about was how cute it would be to have this massive Orc, all muscle and frowns holding a tiny human baby. Very much 'excuse me he asked for no pickles' energy.
You give your Orc Bf flowers - I don't like to get political when I write but, I'm always thinking about how I can normalise certain things. And I wanted to normalise giving big beefy Orcs flowers.
Monsters with Pets - I'd be lying if I said this wasn't inspired by Jon Snow and his dire wolf, Ghost from Game of Thrones. Especially for my Orc segment of this post. It'd been on my mind for a little while about what kind of pets different Monsters would have and I had a lot of fun writing it. I wanted to add a Dragon segment too, but I couldn't think of what kind of pet a Dragon would keep.
Orc Boyfriend is sad you had to go away for a little while - I think this was my first Orc POV post? I wanted to take a break from writing Y/N for a while and focus on the Orc in this post and how he would behave when you were gone. I really like how this one ended and also the relationship between the Orc and his friends.
Stretch Marks - I've chosen this post because it's really personal to me. I have really sevre stretch marks on my thighs and hips. When my parents saw them they thought I'd had an injury or something lol. Because I have sensory issues, I'm always wearing shorts so the marks are always on show. I just wanted to write some comfort if anyone else had the same insecurity that I did :)
The Other Woman - This was initially meant to be another forbidden love post... but somewhere along the line it became angsty. I had a lot of fun writing this story and the second part of this story. I normally try to avoid writing Fae because I feel like Fae are all over media atm, (nothing wrong if you write or enjoy it, just not my thing :)) but I'm glad I chose to write a Fae character instead. Good writing exercise in case I ever develop a hyperfixation... you'd be surprised how much this happens to me.
Rain, Rain, Rain - An underrated favourite of mine. I was experimenting with my Orcs having accents and I also love the way that this story ended. This was right back when I started my blog, so the writing may not be the best, but I'm still proud of it.
Orc x Gardener!Reader - In my head, I had a cottagecore style reader living in a cottage, with a vegetable garden in the long flowy dresses and the like. I didn't really know how to put that into writing, so I ended up with a gardener reader and a protective Orc who had a huge crush on her.
Travelling Orc Headcanons - I love this one because it's short and easy to read. For me, I've always preferred reading headcanon stories because I can't read paragraphs and my eyes skip over sentences, which is why I enjoyed writing this so much. I also love how the story progressed.
A Whole New World - I think this was my first post that hit over 1000 notes? Again, I like this one because it has headcanons, but also more in depth scenes that really enrich the story. Like no. 7 on this list, it's one of my earlier works, so the writing might not be great, but I'm still really proud of it!
I'd tag people but my blog is sfw :( that being said, any monster romance author who would like to join in on this tag is welcome to!
Well, it finally happened. I have a Fae hyper fixation now - I'm currently planning a series surrounding a few different monsters, so sign up to my newsletter to get updates on that!!!
Hey everyone!
Sorry for going dark for so long, University is kicking my ass and I've been hyper-focused on my books.
I don't want to keep you guys in the dark any longer, so I've decided to launch my monster romance newsletter!
I’m really excited (and a little nervous) about it.
It’s going to be a small newsletter once a month: just life updates, what I’m writing, and what I’m reading lately. I’ll try to keep the reads monster-adjacent, but sometimes I get distracted by other weird little books, so fair warning.
Writing updates will be there too, but if you want the really detailed, behind-the-scenes stuff (like unhinged drafts and any other little short stories I come up with) that’s all happening over on my Patreon.
Oh! And if you sign up, you’ll get the first chapter of my current WIP for free, because I’m bad at secrets and you deserve a little something for trusting me with your inbox lol.
If you’re into monsters, romance, and a general vibe of "weird but cozy," I’d love to have you!
Sign Up here to get put on my list!!!
Perfect time to say: I'm actually Aroace. Aces are safe on my blogs, as well as Trans people.
Fantasy is a good genre for us aroaces and trans ppl and I won't have some terf cunt try to erase my LGBTQIA+ brothers, sisters and nonbinary siblings.
A Night with the Oni - Chapter 1
A/N: Hi everyone! Here's the first chapter of the series I've been writing. This is based off of a post I wrote a few months ago with an Oni. I stopped writing it because I had no idea where to go with it, but now I've got a fully plotted out story.
For my Tumblr followers, I've decided to stop doing one-shots. It's really difficult for me to be releasing two stories a week for free and a third on Patreon, so I'll be shifting away from doing one-shots for a while. It would mean a lot to me if you came to support my Patreon as that's where most of my writing will be from now on. Thank you for all your support so far, I wouldn't have had the courage to continue writing monster romance without all of you!
