Hello ! —☆

Getting some small introductions out of the way, my name is Korbin! Some may know me as Kai but online I manly use Korbin. I go by she/he pronouns, I’m bigender, queer and aroace spec. Happily taken by my partner @heptadecaph0bia !!

I have Audhd, ARFID, and GAD (Getting screened for BPD too)

I am an artist! This blog will be mainly art of my ocs, specifically my oc universe project called Code Decay, which I run alongside @camelotofequines

My long running special interests include the following, along with some of my favorite things pertaining to each thing.

- Radiohead

My favorite albums are Kid A, AMSP, and in rainbows. My all time favorite song is Weird fishes!

- NASA + Space probes/shuttles

My favorite space probes are Juno and DART, and my favorite telescopes are James Webb and Roman! My favorite space shuttle is Columbia, and my favorite program is New Frontiers.

- Ornithology

My all time favorite bird is the Belted Kingfisher, but I love all of Alcedinidae. I also love sea birds and woodpeckers.

A few smaller intrests I’ll mention; My favorite Pokemon game ever is PKMN legends arceus! I love KMFDM, Jamiroquai, Marvel, Project Hail Mary, Iron lung, Deltarune, Minecraft, TA/TN and many more.

Quick intro on some characters you will very likely see often; staring with Code Decay

Meet Bullet, Kidd, Rouge and Símone, my main line up of characters for code decay.

Code decay takes place in what is essentially your computers trash bin. Where files are thrown away to fend for themselves. These four are my main characters for the project.

Hōseki and Akari!

Hōseki is an older oc from a Minecraft project with friends, while we don’t do much with the story anymore I still love her character and design and like to doodle her from time to time.

Akari had been my favorite oc since 2023, and she’s grown a lot with me over the years. Shes very very special to me and much of my art is centered around her.

Haha….. it’s been a while hasn’t it. This was for legends arceus’ 4th anniversary but I kinda forgot I had a tumblr so ignore that

Akari my girl oh I love her so so much 💔💔 like the 2024 version of this drawing I tried to include a lot of symbolism. Specifically poppies, I’m SO BAD at drawing foliage so I’m like actually hyped about how this turned out but. Poppies are commonly associated with mourning and death and remembrance, a lot of stuff akari goes through or I associate her with. I included the noble pokemons symbols, the ribbons above akari were gonna be a pair of Chimecho but I decided against it because it would’ve stuck out.
