Lol not to be stupid but before shift 3 came out i actually wondered if bb was some kind of entity. Cause the power cutting out was too convenient. I was thinking maybe something like death incarnate. My 1 idea was that red and mc were together in some capacity when they crashed. MC was supposed to die along with red but BB 'fell' for her and let her survive. Or red was supposed to live and bb took his life as a replacement for mc. either way, I felt like mc was burden by some great guilt forcing her to deny reality. I'm writing fanfiction at this point. but yeah, and as punishment for allowing mc to live, bb was reduced to mortal. I actually did think bb was from the army, and he was denied entrance to the afterlife because of the atrocities he committed. subsequently tasked as a grim reaper as a means of atonement. so yeah, he's so strict about his job until it's mc's turn and he can't follow through. which is why he's so fixated on her, she's his exception. He's learning to become human, something he was denied even in his first life. it boils down to mc and his confusion as to why he deviated from his objective for the first time since ever.

BB really comes alive in shift 3, my heart actually aches for him but that blue-eyed shit talking demon has his claws so deeply embedded into me, I can't shake him.

I'm a lane girly through and through. The only one that could tempt me is Daddy Lane, yep, Father Fostman can get it. I love when men are adored by their kids.

I can't explain it, something about his dynamic with his dad makes him more dynamic and a little more attractive. There's this very American dream gone wrong vibe to the whole family.

Lane's mom sounds hectic but coming from an Indian household, the whole victim act is a norm.

I just wonder if the reason she was so harsh on him was because he so closely resembled his dad. Could that have contributed to her grievance over him altering his face. We don't know the whole story but they looked like a happy family. Did she see her dead husband in Lane, therefore feeling as if any deviation he made from the mold of his father was some kind of betrayal/loss. Everything he did was wrong because it was a direct contradiction of what his father would have done or has done.

Could it have felt like she was losing her husband all over again, or at least a sizable chunk of him.

Or maybe that's just how she was. Lane was acting out and while she was harsh, that kind of reaction is typical of parents.

I just like drama, I turn everything into a soapy.
