About a month ago I quit using benzoyl peroxide cream to treat my acne. I had been using it for at least 15 years and wanted to move to a more natural option that also wouldn't bleach my sheets and pajamas. It was a tough few weeks trying different combinations of things and having my face break out and feel greasy but I think I've found something that works. This is going to sound weird but I started washing my face with jojoba oil. I added lavender and some other good skin oils to the jojoba. I massaged it onto my face and let it sit for a minute or 2. Then I took a muslin cloth with warm water and wiped the excess off. That's it. It feels weird at first but your skin adjusts. What's special about jojoba oil is that it's actually a liquid wax. It also is very similar in molecular makeup to the sebum that your skin produces naturally. I also made some face serum and toner and spot treat zits with a combination of oils with jojoba as the carrier. My skin is back to about how it was with the benzoyl peroxide. I would still get zits here and there especially around that time of the month but it wasn't a full in break out and my skin didn't feel bumpy with tiny zits. Sorry for the long post. Message me for more info about what I did or about oils in general #oilylife #reoilers #skincare #yleo #jojobaoil
