Based on the Wikipedia article on what they’re calling the Uyghur genocide I think that it’s not anywhere close to 6 million murders. 1 million Muslims have been held in detention camps, so fortunately it seems unlikely that actual murders so far can be anywhere near that, much less 6 million. I’m not providing authoritative info (don’t have the mental werewithal to do more research on a genocide) just suggesting OP’s claim needs a fact check.

There’s certainly been a fuckton of cultural suppression, and forced use of IUDs and abortion, and other stuff, though. This is all extremely disturbing and I am not minimizing the situation. A single government sanctioned murder or detention of a religious or ethnic minority is disturbing. Any infringement on reproductive rights is disturbing. And the state of things is far advanced already. But the Uyghurs and other Muslims in China aren’t well served by spreading misinformation.

(The comparison with the 6 million Jews murdered is… confusing. Not sure what to make of it, what the intention was, but it’s weird and is what prompted the fact check, not because it’s unbelievable or whatever, but it’s a weird way to frame it.)
