I have very easy fixes to my paper. There are mainly grammatical errors. Nothing that is too much to handle. So it is honestly a breeze to get through.

Revision
My research paper didn't have too many major comments that needed to be severely changed, so for me the process of revision hasn't been a difficult thing to do. Just a few small tweaks here and there should be enough.
CSW reflection:
I have not had the chance to post this until now because I have been busy studying for an exam. But while I was at the CSW, I thought that it was very hot because of all the people that were in the student center ballroom at once. Overall, I saw some really good projects that…
I also agree that it was really hot in the ballroom. I wish there could have been fans in there!
I couldn't agree more! that heat was blazin!
CSW Response
I thought the CSW was a cool way for students to transform their run of the mill research papers into a different, creative new genre. The only negative thing I have to say about the CSW was the fact that it was at least 100° in there which made it a little difficult to enjoy it fully, but other than that I thought the CSW was a good experience and I'm glad to have been apart of it.
CSW Idea
At our table, we should have a map of the United STates or a the midwest along with TN. This is to get the guests familiar with the places they are about to hear or learn about at our table.
I like your idea, its sounds a lot like something that I came up with. Since more than one person come up with the same idea for something that must mean it's a good idea. (:
CSW Table Idea
So, for the table at the CSW I think it would be cool if he had a map of the united states and highlighted all of the places that we are all from. Something like Google maps with the little check points. Also, to go along with the map and explain what the project was about, we should put a small explanation of what exactly we've been doing. Have a summary explaining how we all had to come up with an issue in our home town and present a question that we wanted an answer to and also explain how through out the papers we slowly but surely answered our questions that we had about our home towns.
I read the EM-Journal article “Converse Chuck Taylors: A Personal Artifact,” by Sarah Brethen. I was attracted to this article because I love converse sneakers so I thought it would be interesting to read about them, and I’ve been thinking about getting a new pair. I am so glad I chose to read...
I read this article too, and i really liked it! Unlike you though, i did not have something similar to what she had, like the necklaces for you. The fact that you can relate to something that she was writing about probably made this great article so much better for you to read.
Converse Chuck Taylors: A Personal Artifact, by Sarah Brethen
The article that i read on Em Journal was "Converse Chuck Taylors: A Personal Artifact," by Sarah Brethen. Personally, I was pleased with my decision to read this article instead of the many other options. Although I'm sure all of the other articles were well written and interesting, I feel that this article was the perfect choice. I feel this way because throughout my many years of school I have been assigned many articles to read for classes, and none of them captured my attention and kept it the way that this one did. This article didn't just tell a story about getting a pair of shoes, it told about a girl's journey through life and how the shoes were there every step of the way in a very flowing and descriptive way. The author of this article has skills in writing a great piece and keeping the reader's attention (well mine at least). To me, this article was not in the same category as a typical boring article that I would otherwise read. The author used very many details and descriptive words when talking about something and that helped me picture exactly what she was trying to depict. Reading each line was almost like watching a movie screen and being able to see exactly what she saw. Also, she had a way of making me feel what she was feeling with each pair of new chucks and the connection she had with them. She knew how to get the reader to empathize with what she was writing about and feeling. Someone who has the skills to write a piece that can do all of the things that her article did is someone that would definitely be getting my attention and keeping it throughout the piece that they've written. I recommend reading this article.
Presentation Response
I enjoyed hearing all of the good facts and interesting history of your home town. There was one thing though that I was unclear of and that is; what is your research question? Maybe you said it and I didn't hear, or it just mistakenly wasn't said. Besides that, your presentation was definitely filled with plenty of research. jesseh121
Presentation Response
Its pretty good for the sake of your research that you answered your research question clearly, and there wasn't an open end to it. I was happy that I could completely answer mine. I think since it was able to be answered so completely that you had a good/solid question. allisonp121
Important source
My most important source was my super-intendant. I interviewed him during break and he has known me since kindergarten so him and I have great relationship. He was important because he was one of the people in charge of producing this project. He’s the man in charge of it all and he was full of information.
It's pretty cool that you had someone to interview for your research. I couldn't think of anyone to interview, and on the other hand I don't think I would feel comfortable interviewing a stranger anyway lol. so you lucked out in both aspects; you already knew the person you were interviewing and he had valuable information for your paper.
One of my sources.
In the article “Inkster Schools First to be Dissolved; Students Split across 4 Districts,” Brian Smith tells about the Wayne RESA board of education and how they were required to vote to dissolve the financially failing district of Inkster Public Schools. They also had to figure out where the Inkster school students would go and they decided on four neighboring districts to send them to; Romulus Community Schools, Taylor School District, Wayne-Westland Community Schools or Westwood Community School District. Each district had to have their boundaries redrawn in order to accommodate the new incoming students. Also, it was said that this was decision was rushed into and that the negative effects were not totally thought out but what’s done is done and the districts will now have to do their best with the situation at hand.
I agree with the statement made in the article that the decision was not totally thought out, but what's done is done and there's no turning back now. A decision of this nature should be well thought out and every consequence should have been measured but it was not, and for that reason schools are suffering.
Thesis statement
I think I came up with a good thesis statement but I know I’m going to have a hard time forming my introduction paragraph.
My thesis statement is: If we stop high school dropouts it will decrease drug related crime on the East side of Detroit.
This is a good one. It gets right to the point and clearly shows your stance on the topic.
Thesis Statement
I think I may have come up with a decent thesis statement for my research paper. Here it is..
"Schools in the Wayne-Westland Public School District are overcrowded and filled with too many students, which in turn makes the schools an undesirable place for students to be."
This statement could be easily argued by someone saying that the schools are not overcrowded and not an undesirable place for students.
Research Project
As of right now I feel that my project may be a little bit behind. I have put in the time and everything. I just think that for some reason I really need to get the ball rolling with this project. I think I need to sit down and chart it all out. My sources and the lay out and what not. I think that will change the way my perspective on the project is. Being I have my winter break brain I think that I might just wait until Sunday to chart this all out.
I couldn't agree more with this. I feel like I have the information that I need, I just need to organize it and make everything more clear for myself and be able to put it together in a good way.
Overall I feel like my research has gone well, considering where I started out. In the beginning I didn't really know exactly what to write about or how to put at all together but now that we are further into the assignment I have a better understanding of what is expected. Having done the annotated bibliographies, my sources helped me to clearly answer my research questions and better explain how everything flows together. I think for me, this project is going to turn out pretty good as long as things continue to go in the direction that they are now.
The intermediate school district for Wayne County formally dissolved Inkster schools on Thursday and announced a plan to redistribute their students to neighboring districts.
This is another article that tells about how the Inkster students are being sent to the Wayne-Westland school district and other districts. This one is another good source for me to use.
