it's easy to change the law in America, you just need to follow the democratic process! first, a shadowy group of donors backs potential candidates, then the party chooses a nominee from them via a complex multi-stage primary process; when that's done each state votes for their electoral college representatives and then the electoral college chooses the president; the president can then nominate new supreme court justices (who are confirmed by congress) and then those justices change the law, simple!
