What I wanted to say
I have never imagined being there again at Tours Tours Gare de Train to be more precise with the fire in me and this disconnected i felt from everything i thought i was For we were drunk Drunk on whiskies, beers, vodka and high on weed and marijuana But as the voice over was telling us to get ready for the departure of the train to Paris I was being pulled back from both sides You see they were my girlz my sisters One telling me i shouldn’t make a fool of myself the other was saying what are you waiting for go with them go with him i was being held back because i was afraid i had never really been to Paris before I hadn’t thought i could even think of myself in Paris As you stared back at me with that sweet smile that dark hair long and out of sort with those dark metal boots and this heavy metal shirt shreaded on you here and there As you winked and turned I knew only that through your body language through your general rock and Roll attitude I did long for fire Excitment Remembering you walking away with your big suitcase backpack And me standing there still having difficulties expressing feelings
I wanted to run to you Scream those feelings of love That need to touch your lips again Caress your slightly hairy lean body with my lips Confess that i loved feeling your hand caressing my back and your voice almost too soothing The way my heart was tumbling hard in my chest would have Broken the entire earth I would have thought. An explosion over and over again I didn’t know what Paris was back then But i Knew that’s where you were at And i had to see you
We had a talk or was it my friend who told you that i had come this way for you you laughed it off
And i felt my heart sink through the hard burden roads of Paris And I felt my soul being shadered in pieces From Champs-élysés to château d'Eau
On the verge of all ends around this Town A sweet music Held me back and showed me a Paris of Shows and entertainment at every corner.
I did fell originally in love with you to my eyes you were Paris But you are just a limitation the Parisian life offered me passion And i took it without hesitation won’t you seat now at my table dear lover and become just us people with a souvenir.

Can we really talk
i was asked to talk upon privileges
my interior was uterlly laughing
how can you not
when
all of your life
you’ve been excluded
by everything
because that only word
the social exclusion
from the fact that
those who were entitled
in their narrow straightness
would feel obligated to humiliate you
and
abuse you
for 30 years
emotionally
physically
and
mentally
all this because

I feel the exclusion
the racism
the homophobia

what it basically is
i’m barely
acknowledging
that Our only
way out
is
indeed
love
pride
and
certainly never
acceptation
of any form

*Pulls Tarot card from deck for the first time in literal months* Me: Okay Deck, what the fuck is going on *pulls Tower card* Me: Yeah tell me something I don’t know buddy
This is Sarah Grimké.
She was born to a rich plantation family in the American South during the time of slavery. She owned a slave, Hetty, a girl her parents gave her when she was a child. She was absolutely the sort of person whose racism you could justify as being ‘of her time’ and ‘just the way she was raised’.
And she cited the injustices she saw growing up on the plantation as the motivation for her becoming an abolitionist as an adult.
When she was a kid, she tried to give bible lessons to the slaves on her Dad’s plantation, and taught her own slave to read and write. As an adult, she and her sister campaigned for the end of slavery. When she found out that one of her brothers had raped one of his own slaves and gotten her pregnant three times, she welcomed her nephews into the family and paid for education for the two that wanted it.
This was a woman who was raised in a culture of slavery, looked around her as a child and said “hey, wait a minute, we’re all assholes!” and spent the rest of her life trying to put things right.
It absolutely was a choice.
This is something I’ve been forced to learn in the past two years. The world around me is turning into something I was raised to believe could only happen in history books, or maybe in other parts of the world that sort of belonged in history books.
The more I see this happening–and the more I learn about the past and how hard people did fight to stop Hitler from initially rising to power, or to point out the humanity of slaves–the more apparent it becomes that we have always had these choices, and they’ve always been the same.
And we’re always going to have genuinely appealing opportunities to make the worst possible choices again, no matter how much more modern the world appears.
George Washington owned slaves right? Most of the founding fathers did, and in grade school, to smooth over that abuse of humanity by an American hero, we as children were told “Yes, George Washington did own slaves but he freed them when he died.” And you infer that he didn’t like slavery but it was an economic necessity.
And then you’re in your mid twenties watching a food show on Netflix and you learn that because Pennsylvania was a Quaker colony, they led the nation in emancipation and if an enslaved person was in Philadelphia for more than six months, they automatically became freed. And the young nation’s early capital was in Philadelphia, where Washington brought his household of enslaved people with him. And he took them back to Virginia every five months for a time so as to start that clock over and keep them enslaved.
There’s a trend with historians to want so badly to maintain the prestige of George Washington and an exceptional and morally pristine figure. And true, there are many instances in his writing where he sounds like his opinion on slavery as an institution is turning and that he knew slavery was wrong. But his actions. He literally had to do absolutely nothing to free his household staff, and took great pains to keep them enslaved.
It’s important to remember that too. That there were people in positions of enormous power, who know what they’re doing is wrong, and choose to do it anyway.

How to Read Tarot for Yourself
Contrary to the myth, no one can read your cards better than you can. If the question is, “What is the future of our marriage?” and you pull Death, that normally means an ending. But what if when you met your husband and fell in love at first sight, he was wearing a shirt with the Grim Reaper on it? No tarot reader but yourself can interpret Death’s true meaning here: that the love between you will always stay as fresh as on the day you met.
STEP 1: Stick with the first message.
The Five of Swords is a card of competition. Sometimes, it predicts that you will be the winner; other times, that you will be the loser. When reading for yourself, you will go back and forth between these two options, completely overthinking it. But the moment you drew the Five of Swords, it will have given you the right answer. A quick feeling. A flash of dread or gladness. Positive or negative, that is the truth. Accept it.
STEP 2: Look at the surrounding cards.
In a spread, no individual tarot card speaks alone. Its message is strengthened or weakened by the ones above, below and beside it. If your gut is telling you that a card’s message is negative, believe it. But do not feel hopeless. Look to the others near it. If The Sun’s rays are shining down on the Five of Swords, and the Six of Wands is right beside it, then you will be defeated, yes. But joy and success will soon overtake your sadness.
STEP 3: Consider what the cards mean to you.
The majority of tarot books will tell you that The Tower means tragedy and disaster. But each time this card appeared in my own readings, it brought me nothing but beautifully shocking things. Confessions of love… unexpected victories… successful Hail Marys… It is crucial to learn the cards’ traditional meanings. But the language between you and your deck is more important than any expert’s teachings.
If, after having learned to let your intuition overpower your fears and biases, a tarot spread still makes you feel entirely clueless, then the problem is practical. All you need is more practice.

I wanted to get away
I wanted something
the reasoning behind my certainty
Was a bit cliché
But hey
who’s counting
I was in trance
possessed by my yearning for pleasure
But confronted with my own
reality Bite
The problem with yearning
and needing
is sometimes
when they both meet
a breaking point could be obtain
with million of pieces lying on the floor
an indirect
realization
that sometimes
We need to understand
why People created Boxes
things hidden
that need to hold on to something
It has never been my jam
but
force to reckon
that within the breeze of the morning summer
the sweet caress of the sun on my skin
`the chanting of the birds by the window
`Maybe
It is safe to assume
that One can take

Saying Fair Well
Its funny
how we think we always have the time
we venture on our early twenties
fighting off
for most nineties kids
somekind of rebelion
against a formidable power
over places
societies
social contracts
and
Religion
We seldomly through
the depths of our thirties
fight for anything at all except “being on top”
Being on top of the situation
Being on top of the work
Being on top of our friendships
Being on top for our partner
Being on top because
you believe that somehow
this valuable lesson you thought
you were being taught
would teach you how to deal with its mentor
Goodbyes
Acknowledging the dispute over its remains
dancing like hyenas in front of the corpse
of dead Prince
Praying on each golden coins this angel has made
So fiercely you turn first to calm
then you position your body to affirm the great man it was
by swallowing your tears or feeling of sadness
because God
you do know the importance of playing with the EYE
And the EYE keeps most of the living ones in check
except for the departed one
It’s hard to come to terms with what has passed
especially
Due to how it somehow gives great input
on certain behaviours which dare I call human
When its your mentor
the flesh of your flesh
leaves you
there is no patch formula of
“Things will get better”
And no blindness to discovering
how “savage” and “short”
time is in its realness
and so is our life in a threat...
Our lives...
But I must thank you
for being my mentor into this life
thank you for bringing a meaning
To
the word “THINGS”
“FAMILY”
“SOCIETY”
I may have a few for you
“ i miss you dearly”
“I will always love you”
and i do seal this one with a kiss.

The Depression Project is on Instagram and TikTok and possibly elsewhere if you want to follow them
I dated someone who’s mom mentally abuses them. They haven’t learned to just shut up and take it so I told them “Dude if you just stay quiet she’ll stop earlier and you won’t go through as much pain trying to fight back. Just take it and don’t say anything???” Because that’s what I learned living with my parents. If I shut up, they won’t go for as long and I won’t get in as much trouble. So instead of three hours of yelling and then getting grounded for the entire summer, staying quiet got me only one hour of yelling and a month or two of being grounded.
Please don’t teach people to just shut up and take it. Just telling someone to keep quiet isn’t going to help.
If you’re in a situation where your parent(s)/caregiver(s) are mentally and emotionally abusing you, you need to disengage whenever possible and set boundaries. Disengaging can be just keeping quiet, but it goes beyond that. Limit your time with your abuser as much as possible. This can mean staying in your room as much as possible, joining clubs so you can stay later after school, try to find a way to stay with a friend or different relative if possible.
If your school has a counselor, talk to them. Tell them what is going on with your home life, they are there to help you.
Please always remember that the abuse you endure is never your fault. You deserve better.
The biggest mistake you can do is undercut your own ability, straight from its source. You are your number one fan. You are the one person who should always one hundred percent believe in you most. If you can achieve that level of self-belief, self-confidence, self-attunement, then you will pass like a breeze through obstacles, ready to dust yourself off and try again; because the only limitations that have ever mattered or will ever matter are your own - and if you impose none on yourself, the universe is infinite.
