MEET OUR INSIDERS AT RSNA
RSNA 2014 is ready to kick off this week. Trends that will set the tone for the future of the discipline, both in terms of technology and best practices will be highlighted.
During the week, we will be hosting The Future of Imaging, an initiative aimed at providing all with a window into the ever-evolving world of medical imaging. Through videos, interviews and a google hangout, a panel of experts will highlight key technologies at the show with insights on emerging trends and important advances in radiology to date.
Experts in radiology who will join us include:
Dr Satchi J. Hiremath, Vice President of the Division of Radiology at the Aurora Medical Group and Chairman of Radiology at St Luke’s Medical Center, is a vascular and interventional radiology specialist with a focus in interventional radiology.
Dr Joseph Russo MD, section chief of Women’s Imaging and director of the St. Luke’s Regional Breast Center, Pennsylvania, focuses on mammography, and breast ultrasound, MRI and biopsies.
Dr Shreyas Vasanawala, MD/PhD, Associate Professor of Radiology (Pediatric Radiology) at The Stanford University Medical Center in California, has particular interests in diagnostic radiology, pediatric and abdominal MRI, and cardiovascular diagnostic imaging.
As the week progresses, information and insights will be shared about more new technologies and software solutions, and our panel of insiders will be on-hand to provide their valuable perspectives and reflections.
On December 1st, Dr Rachel Brem and a cohort of doctors who are leaders in clinical practice in breast cancer care, will be taking part in a Google Hangout to discuss the urgent need for more focus on individualized breast cancer screening options. Joining her will be Dr. Kathy J. Schilling, Medical Director of the Christine E Lynn Women’s & Wellness Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Florida, and Dr. Jessie Jacob, MD, MMM and Chief Medical Officer of Breast Health at GE Healthcare. The Hangout will be moderated by Tammy Garcia, GE Healthcare’s Breast Imaging Leader. Save the date and join the discussion.
