i post about any kind of queer identity, but i mostly focus on transmasculinity, non-binary/genderqueerness, aromanticism, aplatonicism, and lovelessness.

sometimes i will talk about my experiences with religion/faith in relation to my culture and my queerness (i currently practice catholic faith). none of my posts will discuss or mention religious trauma or anti-religious sentiment, and will mostly be positive and faith-affirming. i will tag such posts with #cw religion.

my username "kalurkweer" derives from the swardspeak (filipino gay lingo) word kalurkey, which is a play-on-words on the tagalog expression kaloka (meaning "driving me nuts," "ridiculous," or "that's wild"). the "kweer" suffix is a variation of "queer."

i "like" posts under my main blog @bibliobuddy, but it's basically a dormant account. for active posting, i resort to @sunbeamrocks.
People have this image of non binary people in their mind as quirky cis or binary trans people who have "spicy pronouns" instead of a legitimate categorisation of gender, and it pisses me off.
They don't even think medical transition for non binary people even exist. And that pisses me off even more.

we exist. it can be clearly observed. "why are people nonbinary" is an interesting question to ask only as much as "can two people ever truly see the same color."
I fear many of us are forgetting that trans men belong to Men (the gender) but not Men (the sociopolitical class) and I think thats an important distinction

it's weird that "i'm nonbinary, but i have a job" was turned into a "lol, being nonbinary is super unprofessional" meme rather than an actual conversation about nonbinary employment discrimination.
Basic definition: A gender identity that can only be described by you desiring the exact opposite of [ concept ] to be how people perceive you ; wanting people to perceive you as everything except [ concept ] ; wanting [ concept ] to be seen as an antonym for you/your personality.
Can be considered the opposite of “-perspesque”.

i also do believe that me liking fictional characters is a part of my queerness !! specifically with my aroace-ness (since i majorly only feel romantic/sexual attraction for fictional characters) but i also make scenarios with my f/os that are gender-affirming / gender euphoric for me (like my wife saying that i'm very handsome, or jyuto helping leio with his T journey 🥹)
