Day shift wraps up, cases are handed over. After a few hugs, handshakes, and well wishes, Robby leaves for his Sabbatical.

Night shift begins.

Hour one? Normal.

Hour two? Suspiciously quiet.

Then a call comes in; an accident up 279. Motorcycle vs whatever. The rider is unidentifiable; a mess of ripped clothes, blood, broken bones, and open wounds.

The rider wasn’t wearing a helmet.

The ED holds its breath, hoping and praying it’s a coincidence.

As the ambulance is arriving paramedics are still cutting away the last articles of clothing. That’s when Abbot sees it, as the blood soaked undershirt is peeled away.

I love Battinson with all of my heart, and I agree that him interacting with Corensupes would be top notch, but I need the next level.

I want a Batman that’s just actually off his rocker. A movie where we never see his side of things, just the aftermath of the shit he gets up to. Glimpses in the shadows, never a full body shot, the audience doesn’t even know what the fucker looks like. People being genuinely piss-themselves-afraid. Not just the criminals, everyone.

And pair that with primary colors, “the trunks make me more approachable”, puppy of a Superman.

James Gunn you could give us everything we’ve ever needed.

Crowley was Samael.

Ok I know what you’re probably thinking. “But OP! Samael is Lucifer’s pre fall name and Neil already confirmed that Crowley isn’t Lucifer!” Hear me out for a minute here.

Neil has no problem with mixing up roles. We’ve seen it quite a few times where the roles and names are delegated differently. For example, Crowley is the Serpent when typically that is the role given to Satan.

Neil also has already done the whole Samael=Lucifer thing so I doubt he’d follow the same path again even if it is the way the Bible tells it. In Good Omens I believe that Lucifer was actually the angel name as he is only referred to as such in a pre-fall context: “Lucifer and the guys” and anything post-fall is always Satan or The Devil.

Samael means venom of god so the whole snake thing makes a lot of sense. Samael is also considered the destroyer, and who is given the job of punishing Job (another role that Satan typically takes)? Oh yeah, Crawley. Hmm.

Something much looser but seen in Neil’s previous work is that one of Samael’s jobs as an angel is to light the stars. In Good Omens we see pre-fall Crowley with that task. It is stated that they had a bit of help from who I would assume was Lucifer as since he is typically the light-bearer ie I think Lucifer designed and PF Crowley would Let There Be Light.

So we haven’t seen this fucker yet with the updated helmet.

The only other Loki from the poster we haven’t seen in the show yet (back in the TVA jumpsuit) has been in a trailer. So like where is this guy? There’s no way the shadows from episode 2 were him, this is a whole redesign why would they just use it in silhouette?

Will our Loki end up going so far back to fix things that he has a reason to look like this again?

Back in season one we got confirmation from Neil that depending on how stressed/overwhelmed Crowley is his eyes are more or less snakey. As seen in the bookshop burning scene.

I noticed something about his eyes in season 2. In the scene of the confession, Crowley’s eyes stay relatively the same level of snake as they usually are. Even up till when he starts crying.

Is this an over site? (Which I doubt because this show is insane about little details like this). Or was Crowley just that sure everything would be ok? He wasn’t even worried that something could possible go wrong because Aziraphale loves him, right?

And then he puts his glasses back on.

Heaven threatening Aziraphale with erasing Crowley’s name from the book of life to keep him in line every time he tries something they don’t like.

If season 3 is as far away as 2 was from 1 I will be 25 before I know how their story ends. Not sure how to cope with this.

What if Metatron isn’t really offering Aziraphale the position of supreme archangel.

What if it’s a ploy to get him back to Heaven for punishment.

What if the “leak” of the fall we didn’t see yet is Aziraphale.

Aziraphale wanted so deeply for Crowley to be restored so they could be truly be on the same side.

How poetic and devastating would it be if he gets his wish only instead of Crowley rising, Aziraphale falls.
