TMNT 2012 Finale thoughts...

I was....disappointed.

This wasn’t how this show deserved to end- it feels like these episodes were created in a hurry to go out with a bang- but they missed a lot of things. Yes it was happy, all 4 brothers united for the end- but absolutely nothing mentioned of the others- not a single character besides the turtles, Chompy and Ice Cream Kitty. Unless you count Casey’s skull and April’s tessen.... (I think Karai was in the first flashback?) I would have thought that April- out of all the characters that were not the Turtles would have gotten a better closing. We don't even see how Raph lost all his memories.

It was extremely anticlimactic.... Idk, I kept thinking we’d see more- but it ends with the brothers and the brand new mutant Mira swimming/relaxing in the Oasis- and thats it. It looks as if they’re the only ones there. if you’re in this for the ships- don't be excited- NOTHING is resolved on that end. Greg Cipes mentioned on his instagram that these episodes felt like 3 seasons but that wasn’t the case. It was just...an absolute let down. It left me feeling like this: “.....Thats IT?!!?!? 5 SEASONS OF BUILD UP AND THATS IT?!?!”

All In all- I would have enjoyed this more at the end- if the twist was that it was all an AU, and we’d see a future that included everyone in 10-20 years...

Alright. So it appears that the fox(?) mutant is an ally to Raph, as she’s seen behind him as he cheers “YEAH!”. Raph is also in the company of a few other mutants too. They do not appear to be holding him down in the first pic or being thrown back as if he was trying to escape them in the second.

The badger mutant seems to be a definite bad guy.

Once again- the mystery mutant. I tried my best to get as clear a shot as possible of this guy! They’re wearing either a dress of a poncho like garment and are also wearing a small gold heart near the top. I know someone mentioned that they could have purple bands too with the yellow. Its hard to tell- but I think I see purple- or at least not yellow- on their left forearm and right leg. They're also wearing a yellow head band, you can barely make out the top of their green head.

Finally- this turtle shaped robot on the side of the Shell raiser! It doesn’t appear to be the same Robot Donnie from before. But I could be wrong. Robot Donnie appeared to be made of black metal rather than the silver we see in the final pic.

More pics! Hmm. Seems the patch everyone was excited about is spray painted on. Still it’s April’s star! Pretty sure this D is all robot though. A new metalhead? Is it Donnie but with his mind now in the robot? Wheres Leo and Mikey? (Im beginning to fear for Leo here.)

4) A clearer shot of Robo D and the mystery character behind him! I figured it may be old Mikey- given the three fingers and toes. But now that I think about it- whoever they are, they're really skinny. Maybe too skinny to be Mikey.

The New Promo! Looks like Raph has a beard? 0_0 Seems its only a fake though, since he’s seen without it too. Is that Mikey with (robot?) Donnie?? This is a lot. I don't think I’m ready.
