Greetings, everyone! As we are about to embark on the final step of the beautiful and thrilling journey that is high school, I have been thinking about what kind of high school I wanted to leave to the future generations of students that will follow us. I have been thinking about how I want them to be able to evolve in a fairer, more inclusive school environnment. I have been thinking about I want each and every one of them to have the chance to suceed and learn and grow as students and teenagers, no matter their background, their baggage, their special needs and their dispositions. I have been thinking about how I want them to feel bonded to their high school, not only as a place of learning, but also as a community in which they feel at home and happy. I have been thinking that the time for thinking is over and, now, it is time for acting.

This is why I’m proud to announce my candidacy for Shiroiwa High School President. It is more than time to break that glass ceiling that have been keeping girls throughout our school’ history outside that position of great power and responsibility. By running for school president, I want to empower each and every one of you. If elected, I promise Il will enact measures to help each and everyone of you be able to fulfill all their potential in a fair, inclusive and welcoming school community. This isn’t about me! It’s about us! This is why I’m running today! For all of us!

Spring Break Class Trip

Hi, everyone! It’s with great pleasure that I can announce the unofficial Class 3-B’s Spring Break Trip. I figured it will be the perfect opportunity for us to bond, to work out our differents and to become an even closer and stronger class as our senior year of our high school is about to start! I rented a cottage in the beautiful Sanuki Mountains, just by a beautiful little lake! Of course, it will give the nature-lovers in our class the perfect opportunities to go hiking, to have fun in a kayak or a canoe, to have a bonfire outside. As for the home buddies, you will be perfectly free to bundle up with a blanket by the fire inside the cottage. A chores schedules have already been prepared to make sure everyone contributes. I also make a special allowance for two of our classmates’ siblings to be allowed to join on the fun, considering their special relationships with some people in the class! The departure takes place on monday at noon and we come back on sunday around 5 pm! Here is the room assignment! Each room can contain from two to four people in it.

Rest in peace, our sweet Gen-kins.

It is with a heavy heart I announce that Tadakatsu and I sadly lost our precious son, Gen-kins, after the skateboard race yesterday.

Gen-kins put up an amazing fight and won the race, b-but… The jealous rodent couldn’t handle this failure, and ended up… e-eating poor Gen-kins. It is obviously a huge shock and we are heartbroken. Tadakatsu and I will be going away for this weekend. We appreciate your thoughts, but we might need a few days to process what happened… 

Gen-kins brought us so much happiness in this short period we have known him. He came into our life at the perfect time, and I dare say, really taught us what it means to love someone…

He was so full of life, humour, and was one of the smartest creatures I have ever met. Even though he is gone, he will continue to inspire and motivate me to be a better person, every day. Thank you, Gen-kins. We will always love you. Your bravery will always live on within us.
