People need to realize that someone is not ableist if they aren’t able to deal with some behavior from a neurodivergent or disabled person. Personal boundaries exist for a reason and they should not be crossed by someone just because that person cannot help their behavior. 

As a person with ADHD, I know my behavior can immensely annoy people at times. That’s ok. As a social worker who works with disabled people, their behavior can cross my boundary and I can make that clear. 

Boundaries are important and it is not ableist to make that boundary when a disabled/neurodivergent person crosses it.
