- Walk or bike instead of driving when possible, saves gas $$$ and air pollution, gets you some exercise

- use rags instead of paper towels, saves $$ and trees

- Line dry your clothes, saves $$$ in energy use and smells nice

- Only wash full loads of clothes, and only wash in cold water. Saves $$$ in energy and they will get just as clean, we promise

- Open your curtains for light instead of using electric lights, saves $$$ and decreases depression

- Clean with vinegar and baking soda, cheaper than Mr. Clean and safer

- Drink tap water, saves mucho $$$ and is great for you

- Grow some veggies, saves on your grocery bill, makes oxygen, reduces your carbon footprint

- Buy local produce, hit your farmer’s market

- Avoid the stove and oven if possible to save $$$ and also avoid heating up your home which makes your A/C work harder. Use a crockpot or microwave instead.

- Switch to LED bulbs

- Instead of spraying air freshener, maybe just keep your house clean….

- Go for energy efficient appliances anytime you’re in the market for new ones

- Take showers instead of baths, and install a low-flow shower head

- Visit the park or other local free attractions instead of the movie theater

- Take your lunch to work to save both $$$ in fast food and gas
