The epilogue is really upsetting on a hundred different levels

And I know people who kin Dirk and Jane and whoever else the epilogue fucked are really upset about it

But you guys are still valid okay?

You’re not bad because of the epilogue

You’re not manipulative or transphobic or evil just because the characters are acting shitty in the epilogue

I know it’s upsetting and confusing and it hurts, but it’s okay

You define who you are, being kin doesn’t mean that you are 100% defined by the character you kin with

All timelines are different, and I’m not even convinced that the timeline in the epilogue is the same timeline as in act 6

So just because the character you kin with is doing some shitty crap in the epilogue timeline doesn’t mean you did that in your timeline and it doesn’t mean that’s how you are now
