to everyone saying âwhat has happened to our worldâ
A man asked the Prophet (pbuh), âWhat is the most virtuous struggle?â The Prophet said, âA word of truth in front of a tyrannical ruler.â
[Sahih Hadith]
nothing but love and respect for the people of gaza theyâre in the middle of a genocide and theyâre trying to help the people in Fergunson protect themselves against tear gasÂ
What is happening in Ferguson - and the solidarity people from Palestine are expressing - is exactly what Angela Davis has been talking about. The internationalization of these oppressive structures. The prison industrial complex does not exist in a vacuum. Police brutality doesnât exist in a vacuum. Apartheid doesnât exist in a vacuum. These oppressive structures are interconnected.
This is why whenever Iâve seen her speak on the PIC or on feminism and abolition, sheâs always connected it to Palestine. Global connections. When she was imprisoned in the 70s, in solitary confinement in an American prison, a Palestinian political prisoner in an Israeli jail sent her a message of solidarity - it was smuggled out of that Israeli cell an into Davisâ cell. Do we not see parallels of that today in those tweets sharing tips on how to deal with police brutality?
The struggles are distinct. Specific to specific communities. But the structures are interconnected. What does it say for American police to be trained by and often armed by the IDF; what does it say for weapons to be tested on Palestinians and then sold to the rest of the world; what does it say for military and prisons to both be privatized to this extent; what does it say for neoliberal institutions like the IMF and the world bank to be supporting private prisons as replacements of state functions in developing countries? We have to have attention to detail and we have to also be able to look at this in a larger framework.
Hereâs a by-the-numbers look at who lives in Ferguson, whoâs in charge, who gets stopped by police, and more.
I have tears in my eyes.
Like I donât even think you guys understand the magnitude of this tweet. The sheer humanity of this, they are dying over there. No they are being SLAUGHTERED but they have the ability to still think to help people they have never met, people they will never meet. They understand what the people in Ferguson are going through, they see it because they are going through it too.
Do you remember how big a deal it was in the media when Israel accused Hamas of this?Â
Do you see how the information that Hamas werenât behind it is not being covered by the media?
Over 1,000 dead in Gaza. This was another genocidal Zionist lie.
Respect!
Speak it up.
I want to be that kind of doctor. Much respect. This is what every human should aim to be.
^^ same.
Someone inboxed me this and I think it is worth sharing #sadtruth
In case you have doubts about whoâs using Palestinians as human shields !
For a period of time, I drove past this almost weekly. Each time, I was trying to figure out the entire typography, switching my gaze back and forth. Road, rock. Rock, road.
One day, I decided to pull over to satiate my curiousity. It says,
"Glory be to Allah. Allah is the Greatest. There is no power and strength except with Allah."
No place on earth too random for such reminders. #islam #arabictypography #instaqatar #iphoneasia
ISRAEL IS A TERRORIST STATE.

Obama comments on flight MH17
Omar suffers from a growth hormone deficiency, the result of a dysfunctional pituitary gland, and as a result is trapped in a tiny body. He looks around five but is actually seven-years-old.
He and his family fled Syria two years ago after the revolution began and government forces started shelling his hometown of Idlib. There he was receiving regular hormone and vitamin treatment to help him grow. But in Tripoli, northern Lebanon where his family took refuge, the treatment is too expensive even for aid organizations to cover.
Omar attends a âsecond shiftâ school for refugees, where French is his favorite subject.
When asked about his memories of Syria, he says: âI remember when my uncle Ahmed was killed, he was hit with three bullets. One in his leg, one in his back, one in his shoulder. Then a lot of blood came out.â
There is hope for young Omar. He and his family are now being considered for resettlement in Europe, where his treatment can be paid for in full.
