I'm so sad that DS9 was made before the popularization of people making their coffees at home with specialized equipment because I really don't think Ben gets his raktajino from the replicator if he views his food as an art and a piece of his humanity. Ben Sisko lovingly makes his raktajino every morning with a beans that he gets from his favorite moon on the Klingon empire (with a Full-City roast thank you very much) paired with his favorite rak'taj (alcohol removed) from a distillery he hand-picked on Qo'NoS and he has candied jacarine peels that Kasidy delivers with the rest of her freight. The process takes 20 minutes, and he hand-grinds and weighs his beans.
