Don't you think it's kinda silly to say that about historical clothing when that's what they most likely would've worn anyway? Like Columbus would've worn those, it was fashion of the time. Like how Dante wore robes so did Da Vinci. It's just the fashion of the time and it's Italy so its gonna look unique because they love the arts.

No it's not. The clothes drawn on these drawings show a brown scarf that isn't tied down and big puffy sleeves that fall in a very particular way which- even if it does look historical- is not. Even if we just take inspiration from his famous portrait, the clothes are not at all the one depicted in the fan art I'm talking about.

But he wears that even in this portrait. The hat, the robes, the undershirt. They're all fashion of the time. They wanted to look like menacing or imposing so it's gonna look like that. He's an explorer. Marco Polo wears similar stuff. It's just what they wore. It's historical.

Clone High new gen redesigns! Kinda!

Harriet: inspired by some concept of her, like vest, haircut and glasses, i think it’s fits her perfectionist personality good (also picked the only one shade of green, bc WHY SHE HAS TWO DIFFERENT ONES ON EACH SLEEVE RAA /hj)

Frida: also a lot of inspiration from concept art, mainly for top and haircut

Topher: wanted to lean more into his fake ally personality, so i added a bunch of LGBT/feminism stuff on him: straight ally pin on beanie and bracelet, LGBT flag and feminist fist-ish on his crocs (also from concept art) oh and stains are from shrimp

Idk if i will do more redesigns tho
