Viola is Dio’s spouse and one of their close friends from childhood they married after the Phantom Blood rewrite and after they were turned a vampire. They considered each other as a second option after Erina escaped with Jonathan. Also, Dio ended up getting scarred in the face during their final battle with Jonathan, and I’m debating to let them cover it with a mask

JJBA Retold: Phantom Blood

Jonathan “JoJo” Joestar & Danny

I plan on rewriting/restructuring the entirety of JJBA. So here is the redesign of JoJo and Danny from Phantom Blood!

Jonathan:

His redesign for the rewrite is based on his OVA design.

He and Dio are now half-siblings, which is a secret kept from George I. Jonathan and Dio’s mother is Mary, while Jonathan’s father is George I and Dio’s father is Dario.

His backstory up to adulthood is about the same (including the one on how Danny and Jonathan got along with each other), except the fact that he and Dio are fully looked over by George I like sons and George looks more onto Dio (Despite Dio not being a JoJo) than Jonathan.

Him meeting Speedwagon is about the same. This time, Speedwagon and his street lads decide to help him out take down Dio.

The burns from the Joestar Mansion fire are apparent instead of fading away after being healed by Erina.

After the fire and sometime later living with Erina, Jonathan meets Ringmaster Will A. Zeppeli, the host of Hamon Entertainment- a circus that practices with the Hamon technique, which is a healing ability originated from a tribe from India.

Instead of Poco’s sister being kidnapped, Erina replaces her in the rewrite. Even after that one kiss Dio had with Erina (refer back to the “Kono Dio da” scene), this didn’t mean that he was done with her.

Everything else is also about the same and Jonathan still dies at in the end of Phantom Blood

Danny:

He lives in this AU. What the first 3 Jojos will have in common is that they have animal companions/pets to accompany them other than their “Jobro” (Jonathan has Danny, Joseph has a bald eagle companion named Roundabout he encountered on his mission to rescue Speedwagon, and Jotaro has Iggy)

Instead of getting burned alive in the incinerator, Danny gets dumped out of the mansion by Dio and later comes back to the Joestar Mansion to rescue Jonathan from him.

Danny does die alongside Jonathan at the end of Phantom Blood
