Hello, I’m still alive and I would really like to write a comic :3

Made this because Breath of the Wild Hype, Starbomb is the best band, and low-key to prove I’m still alive. Also because it was good practice for digital art! Enjoy!!

I waited, I watched the predictions and leaks, I prayed, I told other fans I wanted it. And then, after much waiting--way way too much waiting--IT HAPPENED.

It’s Phoebe’s finale… the Buddha Bowl! Roasted sweet potatoes, red onion and rapini tossed in olive oil and spices. Sauteed chickpeas, wilted kale & brown basmati rice. Topped with avocado and sweet tahini dressing. #heaveninabowl (at The Lunch Room)

Just realized that I never uploaded anything from this class (Organizing Visual Space, Winter ‘15)!!! Well, I’m not sure how THAT happened, because these are some of my favorite pieces (in oil, or whatever). 

This one is titled...Grid Painting. The assignment? Paint a grid of colored squares! We were each given a print-out, then had to carefully mix (and mix and MIX) to get as close to the pictured colors as we possibly could. After MANY hours of mixing and painting, this was the result!! Currently on display in my upstairs :)

Just a birthday sketch! I attended Ann-Arbor-area chalk artist David Zinn’s Drawing from your Imagination workshop at my library today, because I happened to be right there and it was going on. A great, random, perfect little birthday present, and I loved it!! ^^

I’m writing a new book!

In the interest of not seeming completely dead to the world, here is a sneak-preview of one of the pages from the graphic novel I’m working on this summer. The story will follow my adventures in Europe and the UK over the past two months! This is actually a page from toward the end, after I got home, and it’s not quite done, but close enough. :)

I can’t wait to write and draw more of this, and to start getting more pages up online. I haven’t quite decided yet if it should be a webcomic or what, but anyways, enjoy this little taste!!

Wow, I’m alive and drawing things! This is my OC Laura Melengio, a 3-D-printed Wiccan priestess who lives in Chicago and is general amazing. I promise the background makes more sense once you read her whole story--I hope to get started on more official artwork for it this summer, so if you want more, be sure to check back again in the coming months ;)

More Style Savvy 3 rambles

I just sent a quick note to Nintendo re: STYLE SAVVY 3! I’ll let you know what I hear back. Also, feel free to write your own message here! In the meantime, here’s what I said:

Hello!

Lately, I've heard some rumors around the Internet about a possible release of Style Savvy 3 in North America, which would make me, as a gamer and Nintendo fan, very happy and ready to buy! However, nothing has been confirmed yet, and of course it's entirely possible that the game with the codename in the leak is something else. I'm going to be in Europe this summer and would consider buying the game there if it hasn't yet been announced for the U.S. Before I spring for an international version, is there any more information you could give me, or any hints/confirmations of the game possibly coming to the U.s.? I know it has a market here, with many other fans of fashion and casual gaming desperate for the chance to pick up this title!
