Detail I noticed with the photograph that appears throughout the game (mild-ish spoilers)

this is the second time we see the photograph (the first being the hospital room), and I find it a nice detail that we see it how he remembered it in 1976.

No Lisa next to him, and his parent's faces are blurred. Daniel later mentions in the game that he "has no memory of that woman" in reference to seeing his mother in his own mind, so it is likely caused by MOTHER, as opposed to other reasons. Sometimes grief or even going a while without seeing someone can cause forgetfulness.

So, he logistically knew he had parents, but doesn't remember what they look like at all.

And then the final time we see the photograph!

This is long after his father helped restore his memories, and in particular this shot is from when we take the photo.

Bonus one we find in the hospital room -- this one DOES include Lisa, and unblurs their faces. The picture itself is blurry likely due to resolution.

It makes sense, since we are in Daniel's mind, and he's remembered his family at this point. (Despite the brain damage caused by the ROAM agents constantly poking his head.)

One last thing before I stop rambling -- I like how the photograph is colored in each scene.

The hospital scene, it looks vintage, showing just how long ago that memory feels to Daniel.

The second time it's a sickly looking green, and it feels instinctually that something about that photograph is off. (And it is, lol)

The last time it is bright and colorful, because Daniel and Lisa are back and with their family again.

I used google translate to sorta-kinda translate the dialogue, and it did a half-baked job doing so, so I may look at this later to see if I can translate it proper xD

The gist of it:

Lisa asks Daniel, since it'll be his birthday, what sort of things he'd want to eat. Daniel is thinking to himself about potentially getting to eat something homecooked and getting excited about it, when the other two versions of him come running in.

They start excitedly telling her what they want; Little Daniel wants a hamburger, the "player" Daniel wants omurice, and the adult Daniel is panicking and telling them to wait lol.

Lisa also remarks that she never promised to "make" anything XD
