Years ago my sister told me abt how she used to play online survival games like Rust or something etc. w her friends and she'd go in VC this over-the-top 'girly' voice like "ummm hey I don't play videogames much and I reeeaaallly don't know what's going on teehee, can anyone pleaaase come help me I'm so confused" and then when some guy showed up all of her friends would swarm and kill

Going to reframe this by saying a different phrase, which is "the answer is always no if you never ask." If you don't give people opportunities to say yes, then the answer will always be no. Don't self-reject.

if you have a boyfriend and you start liking another guy you dont actually have to break up. basically you can put the first boyfriend in the bathroom and close the door, and then bring the second guy into the house and let them get used to each other's smells through the door. if you supervise them for the first couple weeks, they should eventually get along or at least not kill each other while youre away.
