At first I was kind of indifferent to Taash but going through more of their personal quests and stuff I think they have become my favorite character..... the identity stuff and how their mother is is just too relatable, it really hits

Taash is 20 (unconfirmed) and so much more relatable if you keep that in mind.

Also their banter and non-identity related scenes are fucking hilarious. They is definitely in the top half of my companions on my second playthrough.
