New Piece! - One More Nightmare Calling. The Nightmare spirit travels across the dark skies...

'Nearby there’s a little garden where the grass grows long and deep there, the great white stars of the hemlock flower & the nightingale sings, all night long it sings.The cold crystal moon looks down & the yew spreads out his giant arms over the sleepers… It is the garden of Death.'

This is a personal piece inspired by The Canterville Ghost portrayed by John Gielgud (1986). I always remember this moment where the description is so beautiful and eery.

The Maiden In Mourning, the final piece of my little series of Arthurian Legend themed pieces. This piece is a bit of a spoiler but I wanted to do a piece inspired by my favourite couple Morgan and Accalon and their tragic love story particularly inspired by the books by Sophie Keetch.

This has been a really helpful project for me to really push and understand what I can create solely from my imagination, practicing watercolour paints and although it's been a really tough month, proved to myself I can still enjoy creating art as well.

I'm planning on doing all 4 pieces as a set of prints, cards and potentially other merch in future. I hope you like them.
