Life can get in the way. We all have our rough patches; unfortunately, they cannot be escaped. Over the past week, my life has been trialed over and over again. Some nights were sleepless with worry and some days, it took everything I could just to eat something. 💤

But, I believe it is God's way of testing my faith and strength in Him. 🙏

Life isn't easy. But it is the way that you react that determines how it will go. You cannot change their reaction; only yours. 😎

You and I both have dreams. I want to travel and experience the world with my soulmate. I want to have personal and financial freedom, and I am sure you do too. ✨

After this week, I realized a lot of things-

(1) Shit happens. You can't control it; you can only manage yourself after it happens.

(2) People will talk shit about you. Yep; it is just gonna happen. Acceptance that you are the one in charge of how you perceive it is the key to healing.

(3) Try to look for the best in others. This one is hard, but it is oh so important, given the state our world is in now.

(4) Even those that say they want you to succeed may not have your best interests in mind. This one is the hardest pill to swallow personally, and I am actively working on this one.

Despite this, this is how life works. People talk and do things because they are missing something that you have. No, it is not right. Yes, it is wrong. It is how you react that will make the difference.

Love them where they are at; give them patience. All of us have our struggles. Keep on going, no matter how hard it is. You are worth it <3

I thoroughly enjoyed this title, and it is great for believers of Christ that are new or just need a refresher. It isn't a pushy religious book either, which I enjoyed. If you can, give this one a read! :)

Ms. Eva's memoir was very heartfelt and had me crying in some parts. Readers that want to read about hopeful endings may want to check this one out!

Cynthia J. Koelker did an excellent job with her viewpoint on Job's Wife. The Bible does not mention much about her, so I think that imagining what she was like makes me appreciate the Bible more!
