I think what bothers me the most about Hermione ending up with Ron is the fact that he is so insecure.

Hermione is incredibly intelligent. You pair that with an insecure man and it’s a recipe for disaster. A true nightmare situation.

I’ve been in a relationship with insecure men, and it always ends badly.

The only thing I could ever see in the relationship is Ron making Hermione regret on the daily ever getting into a relationship with him because of his pathetic insecurities.

I’m not saying, Hermione would be better suited with Draco (I haven’t read any of the fanfiction so far, but I’ve been thinking about it just out of morbid curiosity) what I am saying is that she needs someone at her level.

The reason I would root for a Slytherin character for her Hermione is the fact that there are no insecure slytherins.

I mean it, insecurity does not run in their blood.

Meanwhile canon Ron Weasley when his wife is minister of magic.

Because with all the insecurities in his heart about being not good enough as his brothers, harry, he was never ever insecure about a strong confident woman doing her job aka Hermione's achivements. She became minister of magic while being married to him. He knew Hermione was strong career oriented woman and he loved her because of it. He cheered her throughout his teenage life. He is cheering her throughout his adult life. And he will continue to do so.

Meanwhile all the Slyherins kept their wives at home, making them house wives and baby making factories because they are conservative and likely believe women belong in kitchen. Draco's canon wife is a house wife. (PS there is absolutely NOTHING wrong in being a house wife. If any woman wants to be a house wife she 100% should. But I will continue my headcanon that slyherins are conservative and keep their women at home rather than allowing them to work 🤷🏽‍♀️)

It sucks that you dated insecure men. But don't project that on Ron.

Exploring cinematic concepts for my potterbyblvnk sketches. With the help of you guys, I decided to call this series “potterframes”.

I want to show you in details, colors and atmosphere, how I imagine the story of Harry Potter beyond my sketches. My goal is to create believable “movie” scene. I know we already have the movies, but there’s a lot we can explore, especially after growing up.

I might have a lot of fun designing the dark side of the story this time, with a bit of light for a contrast, of course.

As always, the only intention is to feed my imagination.
