Did you guys notice the pattern when it comes to all the heroes Hans uses as pet names for Henry?

Hercules

Alexander the Great

Achilles? (I’m fairly certain that there is a dialog option while riding but it’s not included in the video)

All of them are famous warriors and would be considered paragons of masculinity and strength.

They also are all men who were pretty well known to have male lovers.

While he’s supposedly had “too many male lovers to count” according to Plutarch, Hercules is most famously known to have taken Ioalus his squire as his main lover.

Similarly Alexander the Great was known to have had a deeply affectionate relationship with his bodyguard Hephaestion and their relationship was described as like Achilles and Patroclus. When Hephaestion died, Alexander was distraught and orders that the empire enter a period of public mourning.

And I’m not 100 percent certain but I think there is also a bit of dialogue where Hans refers to Henry as Achilles (I think while riding away from Maleshov the second time).

So good news is Hans has definitely been putting two and two together since the beginning. Bad news is that Hans is definitely not beating the bottom accusations unfortunately.
